After help on sizing! Currently a stock uk gt but with the original wheels(not rays). Have 225/45/18 fronts and 245 rears as normal. Recently found a set of td race pro 1.2 for sale that look in good nick. Issue is they are 18x8j sizing and currently 245/40 tyres all round. Id intend to put my current tyres on as they are a month old. I obviously want to keep the stagger but tyre/wheel sizing is alien to me. My concern is the 8j rim size really along with clearance in the arches. Will my 225/45 tyre fit on the 8j rim or is it simply too wide to accomodate them? If they do fit can i expect any issues with these wheels or will it sit fine. Think the wheels are offset 38 if that helps?

All fitted and it sounds absolutely immense! Thank you guys! Ill post pics once its had a nice clean and buff up (hmmm....british summer!) Car feels alive again and its a joy to push through the rev range. Love how the pitch changes up as you go through 4k. From a lovely growl to a scream. Thank you.

Just ordered mine due to my exhaust starting to blow the DAY before my MOT. Typical!! Have to say slightly disappointed with CS. I rang up knowing what I wanted so was expecting a nice quick order. Ended up having a 20 min conversation with a guy (I didn't take your name) like I had known him for years! Im not supposed to like the guys im spending £400 with! Seriously though you guys were amazing. Probably the best customer service ever. Ill post pics once its all on and expect more orders in future! Went for the 38's! Very excited!

I hate mindless criminal damage like this. Im a copper and it really makes my blood boil with $hit like this. I had my last car done to the same extend as yours. There was no reasoning for it other than I had just cleaned it so it was looking nice! I don't actually get what these people gain from doing this! They gain nothing what so ever! Its absolutely retarded and backward! It upsets the owner, causes public money to be wasted trying to locate the almost always unlocatable.....I wont talk further as im not allowed lol! Sorry OP. I do feel for you.

Ive just had a small service completed at my local but when it comes to the bigger jobs who are you guys in and around Fenland using? Hes great for the bog standard jobs but I will need to go to someone I know has experience when it comes to the more important stuff in future. Cheers guys!

2 days of driving and I thought id give an update. Tyres are far from being worn into their good zone. Still very fresh BUT the car now feels like a 350z-R. I had 040's front and 452 rear before and without even feeling like im trying the car corners fast and more controlled than before. My TC light is now permanently off whereas before the Falkens always allowed a little slip when I put the power down out of a tight bend. The car now feels like the 'sports' version of the car I had before. Seems a bit far fetched but my confidence has gone through the roof with how the car is now performing!

Im based in manea mate so its really not that far. I have looked at their website and they were people I was thinking about. Part of me would love to go gloss black as im planning on getting a gloss black poly splitter soon (hopefully) and think it would continue it nicely. Matt black is obviously another option and is easier to keep clean. Both those options will result in my dad telling me for the next however many years that ive ruined my car etc (he hate black wheels and hes pedantic enough to ring me often just to tell me that). Im like that gun metal and the anthracite options ive seen around the web. Too many options. Ive not actually seen many gloss blacks but again im not sure if theres enough alloy there to look decent with the standard OEM wheels (not rays)

Hey guys, The paint has chipped on one of my wheels leave a patch about 3 inches in size so I guess that means a refurb. I have standard wheels on a Silver but Im not sure if I should just redo as standard or switch it up for a bit of a change. Anyone with a silver or any good at paintshop fancy posting some pics of what they have done? Advice is much appreciate as is a recommendation of a decent refurb in Cambridgeshire.

Well they are on! Only managed 30 miles so far but there is a corner near me that always manages to activate the slip light. Doing same speeds today in the brand new tyres and nothing. Not a sausage. Car feels far more balanced now the front and rear grip is similar. I have a feeling im not going to have the ability to get near the limits of these tyres once worn in a bit!

My Dad lived there for around 10 years before he died. From what I remember it's a tiny little place with a pub and a chinese, although probably not a bad thing. We did used to take pot shots at the Church bell with his air rifle though, until we saw people up there on a ladder a few months later trying to fix something Its got a fair bit better recently. Pub and the Legion. A Bakery, butchers, chinese, Resteraunt(Classics-Its VERY good) two mechanics shops and an Indian being built (Where the nursary used to be). Trains changing to every hour to Cambs so London is now only an Hour away. Not a bad little place at all!

Whereas when I wash mine the second I turn my back every Wood Pigeon for 100 miles dumps on my car!!! I cleaned it yest and was well impressed. Today I have no less that 15 seperate $hite marks on the car! I live 3 miles from the nearest Wood!!! WOOD Pigeon my arse! Why cant they F Off and @*!# there? Hmm maybe. Just wanted a few ideas so my mech could have a gander when my brakes go on in a few weeks. As its not just me having the noise im sure someone will be along soon to say exactly what it is....I hope so anyways.

Hey guys, not really a big issue and ive done a bit of a search but found nothing that really fits so apologise if its been answered. When starting off and driving below maybe 20 mph and especially when turning the wheel slightly I get a 'ching ching' sort of noise. Maybe like a heavy spring being let of load or someone shaking coins in a sock twice (I know but you will get the noise I mean). Ive put it down to something with the brakes as they are due changing next month but can anyone be more specific?Im not the most mechanical guy in the world so could be anything. Its def drivers side and im sure its front wheel or there abouts. Causes no issues when driving and can only be heard with window down. Thanks in advance!!

Very good to hear as im chucking on MPSS all round in about 2 weeks!!
