  1. I have bought lots of products to clean my Roadster but I've not had chance to use them yet as its rained every day and I've not got a garage I wondered roughly how much I could expect to pay for someone to clean inside (already pretty spotless) and outside (bit muddy due to rain)? I realise it's a bit like asking the length of a piece of string but a ballpark figure would be good if anyone could advise me please? Thanks
  2. vik54, you could be right I just thought that if I got the innuendo in first it might be the best idea?
  3. Do many people cross over from TTs to Zeds I wonder? Other half had a TT but didn't particularly like it. It was a while ago and I can't actually remember why he didn't like it. Mind you he hates his BMW too. I think all he really enjoys driving is a 4x4.
  4. "...the zed, if not masculine is definately "butch" " Aw well, maybe I will take a look at the estate agents window in Hebden Bridge when I'm there since there's obviously no hope for me now
  5. No, everyone on here seems completely positive about being a Zed owner, perhaps not surprisingly. I am talking about people that I know and who've seen my car Stormin' Norman - I like it
  6. Thanks Roo. I'm not really bothered as such, just a bit confused by the comments I suppose. I'm not an overly girly person but I'm hardly butch either so I will just get on with enjoying my beautiful car and people can think whatever they like
  7. "So a pink Micra convertible could in no way be considered a girlie car?" leonk, how do you find your pink Micra drives?
  8. They're not all lipstick lesbians in Hebden Bridge Clown, so watch your step matey How come that whatever I post on here it always ends up being about s*x???? I think you lot all need to take a cold shower...NOW
  9. Cool? I wish A lesbian, nope. Although, and this is a coincidence I promise you, I am off to Hebden Bridge for lunch today. For those that don't know, Hebden Bridge is one of the UK's most lesbian friendly places to live. Finally, my car is definitely a man. I call him Zebedee
  10. Just wondering if the Zed is considered to be a 'masculine' car because three people have now told me that it isn't a girl's car. Not people on here I hasten to add. Someone said that if it was a woman he would call it 'handsome' rather than 'pretty', which is fine by me as I never wanted a 'pretty' car anyway. I don't really care what other people say about my car because I know that it is wonderful and nothing will sway me from that opinion but it seems strange that some people feel the need to tell me that I'm driving a 'bloke's car' p.s. if I am driving a bloke's car he ain't getting it back any time soon
  11. Taking the cash has never been an option because he does 40,000 miles a year. With a company car all fuel is paid for. He's getting an Evoque soon because we need to be able to tow.
  12. I got £65 worth of stuff and another £65 worth for free because I just got two of everything. Great offer so thanks for posting about it
  13. Sorry, my name is not really a mystery, well not to me at least. I know that the word 'bear' has connotations in the gay world but in this case it is just the name of my garment personalisation company. I have a rescue rabbit called Bear and I suppose my husband looks a bit bear- like (not particularly hairy but does have a goatee) and, although in touch with his feminine side, isn't gay. Does that answer your question?
  14. Yes, just been reading how to do it. Going to show it off tomorrow to Mazda rotary club member. Must remember not to laugh when he starts going on about his lovely wankel
  15. Yup. Anyway, it's mine all mine so he couldn't even if he wanted to
  16. Just looked how much tax my other half would have to pay if he had my Zed as his company car. Nearly 4 grand
  17. Ok, I'll do it Tomorrow is the day of the "Big Clean". Just had little clean so far but am now armed with products so watch out Mr Zebedee*, here I come * My lovely Zed
  18. Is it ok to do this though? The chap who demonstrated it to me told me not to do it as it could cause damage so I haven't dared do it in case I fouled up the mechanism or something
  19. I've just been to Halfords for my "Two for One" offer on cleaning products to than you for the heads up on that one (sorry I can't remember who posted it ) but I am not sure how to clean the bit where the roadster hood fits into? It is only visible briefly when putting the hood up or down and it has obviously not been cleaned much, if at all as it's really dusty looking. Can anyone help please?
  20. Ian, I've just gone back in and it works fine and no messages. Got someone else to try it earlier and they got the message too so I didn't imagine it but it all seems ok now so going to have a good look around
  21. Can't remember but don't want to go back until it's safe. I tried the European and Japanese sites but both gave the same message
  22. Tried to go into the Rays site this morning but got malware message so left rather hastily. Is this normal or has the site been hacked?
  23. Er, you can have a PM if you really want one but I've hardly ever been to Hampshire
