  1. I hope that's 97RON wine, not that cheap 95RON stuff.
  2. No retirement plans I'm afraid GM. The cash is going to the same place where all my spare (and not so spare) cash (and time) goes. It's that thing parked on my drive with the '3', '5', '0' and 'Z' on the boot New bloomin' Y pipe tomorrow (hopefully).
  3. Will do Cal. I'll leave things a while and just order your set if there's no further interest Or see if Grundy will sell you his, as I don't think he'll ever fit 'em!
  4. Well, the 2014 season opener is getting closer, and I haven't figured out how the heck I'm gonna catch the action this year as I'm a Sky customer. Anyways, the reason for my post; have you seen who BT Sport have announced as theoir anchor (wo)man for MotoGP. Melanie Sykes!? Wha? Yep, Melanie Sykes, the well know motorcycle sport guru. http://sport.bt.com/moresporthub/moresport/meet-the-motogp-team-melanie-sykes-S11389845033119 First question and answer to the 'get to know your MotoGP team says it all really. Are you a bike rider or a car driver? I am a car driver with I lifelong ambition to be a bike rider. Does grabbing any chance to go pillion count? The interview just gets worse from that point on. Come back Suzi Perry, please....
  5. Mines my pride and joy that I (try) keep for best! Porker looks nice.
  6. Unable to volunteer as 1) I have a 350Z coupe and 2) It doesn't look stock, but wouldn't mind attending the event Lexx, if you can keep us updated with details.
  7. IMO I don't think quad pipes would suit a 350Z. That's just my opinion though and your car isn't my car obviously.
  8. Moral of this story Chirag - Before you attempt anything, make sure you're familiar with what's involved. Don't just jump in feet first because you think you know how to do something. It always pays to double check. Fortunately it's just a simple piece of plastic this time. It's not like you totally f@&£?* up an expensive leather passenger seat or anything.....
  9. I've got a modified one if that's any good? Looks stock when fitted http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/80420-fs-modified-350z-de-airbox/

    Wtd: Exhaust Y Pipe

Simple, but at the same time clever, I like it. I just wasn't sure if a flexi section would be something they'd have on the shelf - but it sounds like it's something they should have. I understand what its purpose is. Where are Infinity Darren? If they're not too far away from me, it sounds like they might be worth a call. Cheers mate. EDIT: Found 'em. Well, the place in Bristol called Infinity Exhausts if they're the same?

    Wtd: Exhaust Y Pipe

Well, my local exhaust place said they do not normally fit customer's own exhausts, but would take a look for me and fit one if I could get it. The favour would cost me £70 £80 though, plus the price of the Y pipe, wherever I get it from. They did say that their suppliers were asking silly money (£300-£500+) for their Y pipes - that's why they offered to fit my own. I've decided to bin that idea. I now have my Zed booked in at a place that can fabricate exhausts, so they'll make one (hopefully) for me on Saturday morning. If I can get one made and fitted for sub £200, I'll be okay with that. Quick question, are the flexi pipes totally necessary? Has anyone (especially you guys that have had Y pipes made) got a Y pipe that does not feature the flexi sections?
  12. The morpheus guide is probably the best I've seen: http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/front_speakers/ You're interested in step 9
  13. Oh dear Chirag The door handle is held on by 2 10mm bolts. Just pull the aluminium I eve off first by getting a flat screwdriver or blunt kitchen knife behind it, then there's a bolt, deep within the handle, one at the top, one at the bottom. A search on here or google should find a guide or two.

    Wtd: Exhaust Y Pipe

Well, I've got a K1 on, so I didn't really think you'd be able to tell even if the exhaust was blowing But, oh yeah, you can definitely tell it's blowing
  15. Last set goes to cmck13 If there's anymore interest, I may get some more, but think this'll be it for a while. Thanks for dropping by

    Wtd: Exhaust Y Pipe

Cheers Darren. I'm only going on my experience when I had my custom centre pipe fabricated - I had to book it in. If worst comes to worst, I'll just have to go to the wedding with my Zed looking nice.... ..... but sounding like an amplified trumpet fart.

    Wtd: Exhaust Y Pipe

Cheers for the response guys. I'm gonna ring my local tyre/exhaust place in the morning to see if they can get one of some description for the weekend and also ask how much they'd charge to fit one if I can manage to get hold of one. I can try also try a couple of the exhaust fabrication places as suggested, but its whether they can get me in at such short notice. Sir Zman of Alex thinks he might have some too, so I do (hopefully) have a few options, unfortunately the clock is ticking and this weekend is my deadline. Normally time wouldn't be an issue, but I want my Zed all nice for this wedding. I still haven't got a suit or shoes yet, but my car takes priority

    Wtd: Exhaust Y Pipe

Help! My car now sounds like someone farting through a trumpet amplified by a megaphone. After investigation, it would appear that my Y pipe has gone to exhaust heaven. Has anyone got a used Y pipe knocking about that they no longer want/need? OEM is fine as long as the condition is reasonable. There is another factor, I'd ideally like it by this coming weekend if possible as I'm at a wedding the following weekend and need the Zed for then. (Great timing huh?) If you've got one and you're not located too far from Worcestershire/West Mids, I could collect. Otherwise I'd need to courier it (which I can arrange if you're prepared to wrap it). Cheers, Ian
  19. +1 I've had my '14N' plate for over 10 years now and in that time I've had a LOT of cars and it's been put onto each of them - which has cost me an absolute fortune in transfer fees But those days are over as it's on my Zed now - and she's a keeper
