what i mean is why the lower profile 40 up front?

what does this achieve? less understeer?

It'll keep the rolling radius of the tyres pretty close to OEM and won't therefore trouble the traction control.

M6 and 6 series look fantastic, however the drive is extremely dissapointing.

Feels like a huge, heavy barge on the road.

Not driven the current version, but the e63 handled better than the Zeds. Stuck to the road and went where it was pointed.

Wont that be quite a stretch on 11j?

I cant stand the look of stretched tyres.

The norm is a 275/35 on a 10.5j rim, and there is very little stretch at that, so I expect the 11j not to be too much different.

  4. I'm sorry mate, but this is a monstrosity. I'm sure is goes like @*!# of a shovel, but why did they have to stick everything they had in the workshop on to it?

  5. With a bit of luck you could do it.

Weigh A and B, if both the same it has to be C.

Weigh C1 and C2, no matter what the result, note it and remove C2 and replace with C3. If C1 was heavier than C2 and is heavier than C3 also, then you know C1 is the odd one. If it was heavier than C1 but weighs the same as C3, then you know C2 is the odd one. If C1 and C2 weighed the same and so does C1 and C3 then you know C4 is odd. If C1 and C2 weighed the same and the result is different with C1 and C3 then you know C3 is odd.

You can substitute heavier for lighter in this method, it doesn't matter as after weighing C1 and C3 you'll know which.

Of course this all goes to @*!# if A and B weigh different in the beginning as we don't know if it's supposed to be heavier of lighter.

  6. I think one problem with the Zed is the exhaust hangs quite low, it's usually the Y and mid pipe that scrape speed bumps first, so in order to fit a flat bottom, brackets would need made for it to hang low enough to clear it and with it being made possibly from plastic, would need to clear it enough to prevent it melting, which in turn lowers the ground clearance by quite a lot. In a lot of cars that come from the factory with flat bottoms they have cut outs for low sections of the exhaust to fit through and that complicates the whole project.

Hopefully I'm exaggerating as I'd love this to happen, especially if you plan to make more than 1 ;)

Abbey might be able to help, they have something similar on their 350 drag car.

Its got auto passenger up switch. One of the best mods I did to mine, however I got mine for £4 including postage from Japan and it also included the passenger side switch unit lol.

Ahhh, missed that. Never worth £75, though  at £4 it’d be a great wee mod.
