  1. Taken a deposit for collection at weekend. Fingers crossed.
  2. I really don't know mate, the fittment is 114 x 5 but you might need spacers. If you ask the question on the wheels sub forum I'm sure one of the wheel ninja gurus will tell you.
  3. Its not the price its the time taken to sort out delivery thats the problem, my job is hectic at the moment. Still I suppose if I don't get any better offers I'll consider it. cheers though.
  4. Hello all, Change of wheels prompts sale of my Rays and Bridgestone Potenza RE40 tyres. As you can see from the pictures the previous owner has curbed all 4 of them though to be fair the damage is fairly shallow, no deep smashes or deformations and only some slight bubbling. Clearly if such things upset you then £60 a wheel will see them restored at a decent shop, if you want to thrash them on the track then clearly don't bother with any restoration. The tyres are in decent nick, 2-3mm at back and 3-4mm at front with no issues so good value there. I really can't be arsed with postage and packing due to my job so these are provisionally collect only, I am in the bedfordshire area just off the M1 or A1 near Shefford. The price is £350 collected, if you live on the other side of the universe then I'll consider sending them but it will cost you another £50. I can take more pictures if necessary if you are specific. Cheers for looking! Luka
  5. Hello All, I've been around for a couple of months, some of the traders might know me after my fox bashing incident but I thought I'd put up some pics of the car for the first time after buying Husky's wheels off him. Anyway thats him, christened Fatty Brum Brum due to noise and exorbitant petrol appetite Luka
  6. So whats the cheapest option then for getting a key cut and coded? Previous owner only left me one and I'll be buggered if I'm going to pay £185 to get another!

    Spacer size

I really did try! Clearly not very well though Thanks for finding that. Still there seems to be a bit of contradiction about how much of an effect having spacers has on handling (not talking crazy here maybe 20mm front), I guess I'll leave it for now until I've bought the new wheels and take it from there. Its irritating how the standard setup means the wheel looks lost in the arches, I'd definitely prefer a more aggressive stance but without any lowering.

I see, what about if you get aftermarket alloys that don't need spacers but fill out the wheel arches a bit more, is that going to have a similarly negative effect on handling?

Does anyone have any comparison pictures of a 350z with Rays showing the before and after effect of fitting spacers? And aside from issues with lowering the car are there any negative effects to having these fitted? Cheers.
  10. Sorry for this possibly being a silly question but can you clarify what you mean by "without bolts" Does that mean none are needed or we need to get some of our own?
  11. I've sent him a PM, is this a normal problem then? The bloody thing was sold as straight forward plug and play!
  12. Hello all, So basically had a run in with a fox and had to replace fan, radiator and core support. All arrived and fits together nicely but the mishimoto fan wiring doesn't seem to correspond to the OEM setup, it has a lot less wires and my mechanic is a bit lost. Have they shipped me the wrong fan shroud?? I'll get some pictures up this afternoon, in the mean time any quick words of wisdom much appreciated. Luka
  13. Core radiator support is cracked and being replaced so whole bumper is coming off anyway hopefully that should give him the space he needs to **** about with it. I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed that the hoses are long enough. Whats a tt? Actually I don't want to know, the bastard will either fit or it won't, if it doesn't ill douse myself and the bloody car with petrol and have done with it.
  14. Something I should pass onto the lad who is going to be doing the work, is it a bitch? yup, you wont be able to fit the oem fan shrowd behind it (maybe if you don't have APS kit it might work but not chance if you do have it!) I couldnt fit any type of shrowd and had to use fan fitting kit for my slim fans that I got. 10" fans, I could have gone 12" but they're is little need since they do very little over 20mph+ (and if they're is a fan it'll restrict flow anyway. If you need any help fitting the fans let me know, I'm guessing you can't re-use the oem cabling so you need to be a bit nifty with the install... Ah bolox this sounds like a nightmare. I have mishimoto fans and shroud inbound in the mail, hopefully they will fit ok since they looked a bit slimmer, otherwise my mechanic will have to engage in a bit of jiggery pokery or ill have to send the bastard back and fork out even more money.

  16. You'll still need a radiator tho....... They do radiators too on their ebay store. We shall see, I've ordered the radiator and the Mishimoto fans, knowing my luck if it can go wrong it will go wrong. u got a linky or some data of it? This is the one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-350Z-G35-Z33-ALLOY-HIGH-FLOW-RACE-RADIATOR-03-06-DRIFT-SPEC-/260863569570?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cbcae2ea2#ht_1936wt_1163
