Considering purchasing the XYZ Y-Pipe with HFC but struggling to stretch to the ART pipes as well. What advantage are the ART pipes going to give over normal test/decat pipes at say £150?

I think people will still want to buy our good and with the ability to devalue our own currency even have some influence over the demand for our products. You have to think the 4million ukip voters will vote leave? Could be very close!

Hi All My car has recently failed its MOT on emissions, so I am using it as an excuse to revamp my exhaust system. I currently have a Blitz Nur Spec back box (and mid-pipe?). I am considering adding the Motordyne ART Decats and XYZ Y Pipe with high flow cat. Should the XYZ HFC pass an MOT? And are there any advantages of doing it this way over say BERK HFC and a standard Y pipe? Any comments are welcome! Cheers, Sam

First post amended, the reading fo CO has to be 0.2 not 0.3 my error! The garage gave me a bottle of addative to run through the fuel which I did. I've been back for two new readings and they were worse that the first one's above! I will have a look at cataclean. ETA - Yes, UK spec. Thanks, Sam

Hi All My car has failed its MOT on emissions, reading as follows: Fast Idle Test CO - MAX 0.20% 0.32% FAIL HC - MAX 200ppm 101ppm PASS Lambda - 0.97-1.03 0.99 PASS Second Fast Idle Test CO - MAX 0.20% 0.30% FAIL HC - MAX 200ppm 21ppm PASS Lambda - 0.97-1.03 0.99 PASS Natural Idle Test CO - MAX 0.30% 0.28% PASS The car is an 05 DE zed with 85k miles. I have owned the car for 4 years, and the Cats or sensors in the exhaust have not been changed in this time. The garage were quick to suggest that new cats are required, can anyone shed any light on this? If this is the case I will probably opt for some high flow cats and hope that they will pass. The ECU light is not on and I dont believe there is any fault codes. Any suggestions as to anything else to try other than cats? The car seems to be running well. As a note the car was running on Shell V Power and the car had a good drive immediately before being tested. Cheers, Sam

Hi All Having not driven the car for a week or two, the windscreen washers have stopped working - which is a pain. There is no fluid or noise coming when you pull the levers, the reservoir is full so its not a lack of fluid. The car is a 2005 GT, the headlight washers work fine. Due to the lack of any noise coming from the motors at all I think they are knackered. I phoned the local car parts dealer and they have a motor in stock for ~£10. Can you confirm the front and rear washer both run from one motor? Also is there a potentially easier fix than replacing the motors? Thanks for you help. Sam

Has anyone got a petrol filler cap as the plastic connector bit has snapped on mine. Also after one of the round plastic clips that goes over the rear light bolt. I am missing one and it does my OCD no good! Oh and a Chargespeed rear if anyone has one floating about? Thanks, Sam
