Hi guys, as title says I'm looking for a second car but struggling to decide what would be best. Need something big enough to carry two dogs (Choc lab & pug) but not a huge 4x4 as my girlfriend has only recently passed her test. I bought her a little clip to learn in but obviously it's too small to transport dogs in the back. I've been looking at afew different motors but thought I would ask on here for reccomendations. Got a budget of around 5-6k, prefer diesel.

I've got a scorpion cat-back on mine at the moment but my friends got a brand new one sitting in his garage and asked if I wanted it for free! I recently sold one on here but with no fittings. I stuck it up for £60 posted and was sold in a day.

Thanks Payco, my only concern like I say is the colour match as the cars nearly ten years old and I've heard it's difficult to match the azure blue? I may be worrying to much and should just book it in.

Looking at having a Chargespeed rear bumper, sideskirts and Nismo v2 front fitted in June plus having the bonnet resprayed due to stonechips. Only concern after reading afew posts is the colour matching with the azure blue. I would have the work carried out at RT Performance as it seems to have a good rep on here and it's not a great distance from me. Has anyone with a azure zed had work carried out there and what was the finish like? Been quoted a decent price from them and I'm eager to go ahead, but I'm just nervous I won't be happy with the final result. Any info would be great

Haha this has cheered me up! Shame about the result today, first half was a very good. Shame about the red card early in the second half which killed the game early on. I've got to say, at the start of the season I couldn't see Ipswich making the play-offs. So this is a great achievement for us. If we did go up, then yes it would be tough but deffo well worth what comes with it. Il be watching the final next week and of course a win for the Boro is what we all want

I try and always use shell V power fuel, if I have to il use Momentum99. I drive the car every weekend and occasional evenings if I'm home. I can't resist the sound so I tend to give the zed a "good run" anyway. I haven't got any problems with the car what so ever. I just thought this service may help, which they claim to gain back lost ponies.

I've got the scorpion on mine, came fitted from the previous owner. My first impression was I thought it was a little quiet compared to the Miltek I had fitted to my previous Zed. Since then I've fitted decats and a Y-pipe from Tarmac sportz. It now, in my opinion sounds a lot better. Still not over the top driving 'normally'. But loud enough when you want it to be. I live in Harwich, If your local I'd be more than happy to take you out so you can have a listen for yourself. If you do decide to go for the scorpion, I may be able to get you one for a good price as a friend bought one but then sold his zed a week later so didn't even fit it!

Just came across a website that offers a engine cleaning service which removes built up carbon in the engine. They say it helps to restore horsepower, smoother performance and makes your car more responsive. Has anyone ever had this done to their Zed? Seems like a simple procedure and relatively cheap for the benefits.
