Thanks, just had a look on cougar stores site and I'm going to order the Cobra Y-Pipe & decats. My cars already got a scorpion exhaust but I'm wondering what difference the additional parts will make? Has anyone else got the same setup?

Thinking about changing the led's in he interior and number plate. Does anyone on here sell them as a pack? I'm at work and can't think how many I will need to change the lot. Loads if direct ones on ebay and not sure what I will need. Can anyone help? Thanks

After weeks of searching I've finally got myself a lovely Azure blue Zed over the weekend, I'm over the moon! Also had to buy my girlfriend a necklace to keep her sweet as she keeps going on about getting something "Sensible".. Anyway, more importantly the Car, pretty much standard other than a scorpion exhaust and Aftermarket air box. First question is where would you reccomend I get the goodies from? Just bought a stubby off a trader on here but for other parts i.e HFC's, Y-pipes etc there's Lots to choose from on the web but would like to know where you guys get yours? Same for servicing, I live near Colchester so if anyone could reccomend a decent garage it would be great Cheers

Thanks for all the replys. Yeah that is a good idea asking a fellow member to check it out, I didn't consider that! But like the member above mentioned its a lot of money il be spending. The car is infact in Scotland and I'm down in essex so it's going to be near on 700 miles rather than 500 in which I first mentioned. I drive for a living throughout the week so I don't want to waste my weekend doing it for nothing I'm going to get afew quotes today and il post it later. Thanks again, Joe

Hi, I've got my heart set on buying a zed over the next few weeks and I'm after a little advice. I have arranged a few viewings over the weekend, all within a reasonable distance from Where I live apart from one zed that is over 250 miles away. Would you guys say it's wise to have the car inspected by the RAC and for them to give me a detailed report of the car as it would save me a 500 Mile round trip? I don't mind traveling if I know the car is going to be coming home with me, but it would grate my gears if I turned up and something was wrong. Would I be making a huge mistake in not viewing it in person? Are the rac inspections any good?? I know a lot of people may think I'm mad even contemplating the idea but I'd love to hear back from anyone who may of done this. :/

I can also concur, after selling my zed two years ago I thought my Zeditus had receded and gone for good until I was passed by three stunning examples on the M6 two weeks ago.. Brought it all back to me Next thing I know I have sold my sensible Citroen and I'm pestering sellers on Autotrader to arrange a viewing for my second Zed! I've promised myself I'm keeping it stock though....

Hi all, I sold my zed about two years ago now after falling out of love with it after an accident.. However these last few weeks I can't stop looking at them on autotrader and other car sale sites!! I'm surprised to see how well they are holding their price. I sold my 313GT HR two years ago for 11k and they are still around that price now. My question is, if I were to purchase another. What are the things to look out for? I have a memory like a goldfish and everything I researched two years ago is well and truly lost I remember something about making sure a certain service was carried out, if someone could explain it would be great. Thanks for the fast replys! I've searched loads on the Internet but it's hard to tell what I like as the sound can be alot different in real life to the sound I hear coming from my sh#t speakers lol. I had a full Miltek system on my old ST and I loved it. But I would prefer something abit quieter for town driving but when I hit the loud pedal.. I want it to be loud! If you get me As for a price range, I'd be looking to spend no more than say £500 but if I was to go and upgrade the other parts of the system then maybe more. At the moment though I'm just after the "Backbox".

Hi all, I'm after abit of advice regarding what exhaust to go for. Firstly I have a 57 HR GT in Twilight grey and the only mod I've got is the K&N induction. I'm not looking to spend a fortune on a system, I just want something that adds a nice tone and maybe that extra bit of performance. I've read that the K1 is very loud but what would you recommend? Please help

Anyone who's driven an ST In general, not mine.

I had a focus ST-3 running around 315bhp before I sold it for my 57 plate, 308 350z. Question is, what would you lot say is quicker? I felt the ST has the edge when accelerating whilst moving. Probably because of the turbo. But apart from that I can't really see that much difference. Has anyone else driven the ST and what are your thoughts? I love this zed to bits but Would love it even more if it had FI.

I done that iPod Bose hack afew months ago and everything works fine. That is until the girlfriend pressed the tape eject button!! She didn't know that it stopped the hack from working though bless her '_' Anyway, this happened about two weeks ago but I've only just got the opportunity to fix it, however everytime I tried holding in the eject button about a hundred times nothing happened. Here's the strainge bit... I just got in the car with tools in hand about to dismantle the whole headinit etc to see if something else was causing it not to work, but as soon as I turned the key to give it one last go..... Everything was fine!!! Been trying everytime I'm in the car to get it to work but this just self Cured itself asoon as I got the tools out. (it probably thought f**k that, you ain't poking me with that screw driver Again!)
