Looking Fresh in that colour What wax you using just out of curiosity?

I got pulled up in Liverpool 2 years ago in my golf.. £30 pound fine and horrible sticky windows. However had them on again when I bought an ST last year and never had any problems. Im contemplating weather to have the Zed tinted but its a twilight grey and not sure what shade to go for?? If anyones got a pic please could ya stick it up so I can have a nose

Was waiting to pick my girlfriend up from work the other day and for some reason put my iphone inside the tape player lol This gave me a stupid idea to try and somehow remove the "Insides of the tape player" and fit some sort of docking station to play music/ charge the iphone. Ive already done that ipod hack but I get bored easily so Im thinking maybe this will give me something to do. Main question really is... Is it possible?????

After having a run-in with a van the other week ive taken my car to "BALGORES" in Colchester to be repaired. Just wondering if anyone else has been there or know anything about their work. I originally wanted to pay for it myself and not go through insurance but I was told i'd be looking at over £3,000 so thats just not an option. Basicly if anyone has any experiance of this company... Good or bad, Please let me know as there are plenty of other repair centers out there. P.s.. I was going to buy a second hand wheel for £100 but seeing that its through the insurance, I might aswell get a brand new shiney one for £750. Oh and I was told that the car will need a new tyre becasue it might have a "blowout" after being involved in a collision. (I was doing 5-10 mph)

£3,360.43!!!! oh and £750 for a new front wheel I was going to go through it all without claiming on my insurance but sod it.. They can sort it out. Whilst its getting repaired im having a minor shopping dent and a tiny tiny scratch sorted (What was caused due to the accident ) Im off to Turkey with my girlfriend to forget about it all (Until I have to renew lol) Morral of the story.... Pay attention on roundabouts and dont pick a fight with a vw transporter

Hi , Recently had an encounter with a VW Transporter and I need to have the front wing repaired or replaced. Im taking it to a bodyshop on wednesday but I would like to know what sort of price I will be expecting to payout before I go. I know it wont be cheap but what do you think I will be looking at?? Thanks for the fast response guys.. Im going to Germany tomorrow so wont be on the web for a week so Mobile number was the only option. Bit silly I know Il get some pics on here asap but it will need spraying as the paint has come off in two places. Once again, Thanks for the advice

Hi everyone, Yesterday I was driving to Norwich and had a slight bump with a vw Transporter! Eveyone was fine, however my Zed suffered a bent alloy, two dents in the wheel arch and a tiny dent on the drivers door. I dont want to go down the route of claiming on the insurance and loosing my four years no claims. Its high enough as it is being a young driver and I wouldnt be able to afford the rise. My question is, How much do you think it would be for a new Ray 18" Alloy, Front quarter panel painted twilight grey and possibly getting the dent out of the door. (Not to bothered about the door as the dent is tiny) The other car has no damage at all so Im hoping the costs wont be too expensive. If anyone is trying, or knows someone who may be selling an Alloy, Or possibly has a door or quarter panel for sale... Please let me know! My numbers removed number, probably not a great idea, Thankyou

Hi, After recently carrying out the Bose iPod hack I've came across a problem. I followed the guide and when I went to play music it was all fine and worked perfectly. But when I got in the car this morning that "press eject" message came up. I've tried to hold the button in with the ignition off dozens of times but can't seem to fix it. Will disconnecting the battery help?? It's doing my head in so someone please advise

Hi all, As the title says, I have just purchased a 57 plate 313 GT with twin K&N typhoon and was wondering what exhaust to go for? Ive been reading several posts and it mentions "True Duel exhaust"? I take it this means two seperate pipes running through the car. (Correct me if im wrong!) Basicly all I want to know is: 1) What make is the best/worst to go for? 2) Sound-wise, Whats loudest/deepest/quietest? 3) Is there a massive difference if I was to install a decat? Id like to hear all your thoughts Thanks, Joe

Hi and thanks for the quick reply.. I have just got back from viewing a 57 plate with 29,000 on the clock. Had a drive and Im in love already lol. Twilight grey GT with satnav, twin K&N filters & FSH . Not a single scratch/dent or curbed alloy. Ive looked at four or five Zed's now and this is by far the best one. The bloke selling the car was great and You could just tell he had a passion for cars. It was up for £11250 but I managed to get it down to £10500. I left a deposit and im picking the beaut up next week :) Plus another bonus is the insurance.. Im 21 and they are after £669 with my dad as an additional driver. TBH I thought I would be paying double that so Im happy

Hi everyone.. Ive recently sold my Focus ST after 2 years and fancied a change and something abit more "fun". After a good old think and hours on the internet, I have finally decided to go for a Nissan. My first question is basicly what am I to expect with the performance/handling etc with the 350 compared to the ST(had the ST running 310bhp) 2) Im hoping to get a 57 plate with around 25-35k milage and hoping to spend max £11000. Is this a realistic budget for my choice or should I settle with an older model? 3) Tuning-wise, what gains could I expect to see from upgrading the exhaust system/inductution etc and Is there any remaps/chips available worth getting? All your advice would be greatly appreciated Thanks, Joe
