Wow, thankyou so much for all the input and sharing your experiences. Really didn't expect the positivity. Safety is at the forefront and after having an accident in my Zed recently it kind of puts everything into perspective. At the end of the day you have no metal cage protecting you if you end up having an Incident. I think I will Opt for the 600 as going all out for a first bike would be pretty irrisonsable in my opinion. Not to mention the insurance would destroy me! After turning 25, and having some changes in my life I've decided I want to get a motorbike as a weekend toy. I have absolutely no experience and would have to undertake the CBT and full Test along with the theory and I aim to have this done by Easter. My question is, realistically what bike should I be looking to purchase. I would be buying new and have a budget of around 10k after I free up some cash. I really do like the Suzuki gsxr but I feel this is abit extreme for a first bike, even if I just went for the 600. Does anyone on here ride and point me in the right direction. Like I say I have no Experience and would like to test the water before I fully commit myself. Thanks

Looking to buy either a lot of spare parts or a crash damaged Zed. Ideally azure with no damage to front. Will have a full list of parts needed once I get to look at the car later. But have a feeling it may be cheaper to just buy another car and salvage the parts.

All service schedules are up to date with the latest carried out at Japex Performance (P3) Great car with plenty of power and looks to match. Always ran on premium fuel. Endlessly polishing the top layer away isn't really a solution. Apply a UV resistant coating like GTechniq C4 and you won't have to do anything to them at all for at least a year. Interesting, thanks il look into getting some 😂

Been looking at them on afew sites. A little pricey but would be well worth it. when I need to replace my tyres I may get them then as there are afew good tyre/rim packages available. In the mean time il be driving round with blue wheels ðŸ‘ðŸ˜

The Clio lights were in a terrible state. Couldn't see the bulbs through the glass as it had a yellowish layer. Mine weren't too bad and I probably could have done it myself tbf. I was told if I apply some polish to them on a monthly basis then they should be good for a long time.

I'm going to try it, was considering sticking to the safe option but hey if it looks ridiculous then its not too much drama to change em. Or maybe it make me hate them and persuade me even more to get some 19" Rota wheels 😜

I'm having my Ray's refurbed next month and can't decide on what colour to go for as I fancy a change from the standard colour. I've seen plenty of photoshopped Zeds sporting different colours but never seen an Azure with Blue wheels. Has anyone got an azure with similar coloured alloys or is there a reason I can't find none as it is a horrific idea to do to a Zed? Only one I've came across so far is this: Cheers

So today I decided to have mine and the girlfriends headlights restored as they where looking faded and ruining the appearance of the motors. I wasn't expecting too much as her car is 13 years old but the results are amazing! before: After: Mine weren't too bad to be fair but whilst the guy was here I got him to do them anyway. Before: After: Would highly reccomend it and the guy I used is very reasonably priced ðŸ‘
