I have competed in this event many times over the past twenty years but unfortunately after the tragic death of a woman who was riding on a motorbike and sidecar Brighton and Hove council are trying to refuse permission for this event which has run since 1905!! If you have a few moments to spare there is a petition on http://www.savebrightonspeedtrials.com which you can support. We all know how dangerous motorsport and other high speed activities can be but if the powers that be ban these events on the grounds of health and safety we will all be walking around in suits with air bags!! Thanks

Sorry I didn't make this one guys. Charged battery on wednesday in anticipation of this as she hasn't been out this year and at 11.45 jumped in,turned the key and "click" is all I got! Wouldn't even take a jump start. Looks like a new battery for me. Gutted! Hope you all had a good time and got some pics.
