  1. Its no more difficult than cleaning your bathroom. - Buy auto glym engine and machine cleaner and spray on inside engine bay. - agitate with paintbrush as necessary. - rinse off carefully with water from one of those narrow spout watering cans - use brain to keep electrics dry as reasonably possible - spray on auto glym rubber care. - close bonnet and walk away That is all. Unless you literally want to be able to lick the inside of the engine bay that will be clean enough. Anyone who tells you it has to be more complicated than that is incorrect in my view.
  2. When can the uk market expect to start seeing imports from japan. I guess the strong yen will not favour uk buyers but it will be interesting to see what they sell for. Anyone got box thoughts on likely import prices?
  3. Is there a how to on changing the maf sensor - I assume its reasonably straightforward? If I have the jwt popcharger will the maf and housing be in the same place?
  4. How much do they cost. Have noticed a slightly bumpy idle and it feels like the symptoms of a maf on its was out. If they are cheap and easy to replace I might change it over on the off chance its that.
  5. The JDM backboxes are a bit quieter yes.
  6. More of them here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350z-L ... 3a747ad7db
  7. OK. Thanks, dropping a couple of psi might be worth a look. At the moment turn in is "razor sharp" which is nice but the ride is quite jiggly, plus I don't want to wind up with too much central wear on the tyres.
  8. Thanks, much appreciated.
  9. I would like to buy a touchup kit to deal with a couple of stone chips on my Rays. Does anyone know the paint code / a good paints vendor on "the bay" to purchase from? Thanks Shinjuku
  10. Just wondering what pressure is generally considered best for running the Pilot Super Sports. I had Falken FK452 beforehand and feel the PSSs must have significantly harder sidewalls as the ride is quite different. Was just wondering what people thought was a good pressure to use. Thanks Shinjuku
  11. I would want more info on the booze system its got installed.
  12. I think the vendor is pricing it high but has missed a 1 on the front of the sale price.
  13. Fits in the centre rear box and in the higher up flip door things behind the seats.
  14. Not sure if this is the right place for this thread or even if there is a place for such a thread but was wondering what the following is worth. 2* bridgestone re040 with about 4 or 5 mm of tread remaining
  15. Ouch. On the other hand if that's right it will have been put through its paces and be in tip top condition. Its new life is going to be like asking Haile Gebrselassie to mooch down the shops for a paper on a sunday morning.
  16. You mean the one on the dash? Doubt it but not tried it. Behind the handbrake definely although I have not physically put it there as have only got it in post today.
  17. Hey Mike - a thread with you on it at last! Good to see you keeping the 20VT faith alive on here.
  18. £7 delivered. Comes in a box with a card saying its a genuine Nissan product, plus its a charity based seller supporting the Afghanistan Trust which is nice. CD case holds 10 CDs and is very nice quality. Thought others may like it. Looks like there is 4 left. Shinjuku http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251052041081? ... 1497.l2649
  19. Ok thanks all I will take a look.
  20. Surely people do something different in practice than what is on that diagram. If you put a trolley jack on the sill there you will chew the sill edge up on the jack head. Plus there is nowhere to put a stand as the skirt runs up to the edge of the sill meaning you risk cracking it. What do people do in practice.
  21. Is there a diagram or picture anywhere showing the safe points on the under side of the car for placing a trolley jack and axle stands. Thanks Shinjuku (search is not the best on tapatalk)
  22. What other cars run wheels which are the same size as the Zed front and back and which are known to fit the Zed? Thanks for any information in advance. Shinjuku
  23. Yeah the Super Blue is in there at the moment and I want to flush the system. For some reason the Type 200 Gold is considerably more tricky to get hold of.
