  1. Makes changing it easier - why they produce two colours.
  2. Can anyone point me in the direction of a reliable and reasonably priced source of this (it's the yellow version of ATE Racing Super Blue). Please do not post where I can buy the Super Blue Cheers Shinjuku
  3. Ive got 24.5 to the gallon over the last 3000 miles including one track day a few long mway journeys and driving around in london and the south east.
  4. I went for scorpion when faced with this choice. Cobra was that bit more expensive and its also louder. The scorpion is nice. I find noticeably more bass in the cabin on the motorway when under any level of load but I have the roadster. If you let the cruise control deal with the throttle rather than your foot its totally silent.
  5. As above im looking for a set of standard wheels. Not particularly bothered about the condition of the tyres, or whether they have any, but the wheels themselves need to be in v good condition. Pm me if you think you might have anything that would fit the bill. Cheers Shinjuku
  6. So tooth to tooth is bang on 50mm and the front is 58mm. That's a pain, most of them have a high innner ring measurement relative to the outer face. These may be close. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/50mm-Universa ... 43aef9f88e Might be easiest to drill the burger off the original ones, sand them down and go from there after all.
  7. at a meet? I've been thinking I should see if anyone wants to do a Kent/Essex borders meet...
  8. That's useful, particularly if it represents the penetration limit of the cap, but I had in mind the tooth to tooth diameter.
  9. Its nice to participate somewhere I'm still at the younger end of the demographic! Still not sure I feel where Watshot is coming from though. Is he suggesting that my humor is so bad as to be from the early 1970s or so good that I must have lifted the line from a comedy programme?
  10. Good man. Thanks very much. If you are at home measuring please could you have a look at rear side where it mates with the wheel for me?
  11. Not sure. Clearly Sparky350z's hole is a lot tighter than the one on my old girl though, so I suspect girth could be a determining factor. Bottom line though is that you would not want to have your stem too short; it might not be possible for the female connector to get good purchase leading to problems when pumping.
  12. Might be a bit much for me TBH. Does it come with full instructions on how to use it?
  13. Back in the game on image linking. Oh yeah. Anyway, back to these stems. Have you got those on your car Dave? I browsed the bay but there was a lot of choice about lengths, widths etc. Was hoping someone would pop up and linky me to the effect of "I've got these. They are awesome. You should purchase."
  14. Anyone know what size of caps I would need if I bought the generic ones of the bay?
  15. Yes, that's similar to what I had in mind. How do I make the link in my post above produce a picture like that?
  16. When you say drilled them out, what do you mean?
  17. The ebay fairy might hold the key. Seen these ones. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/63MM-UNIVERSA ... 19bc502796 Two questions: (i) what size do I need and (ii) is there an obvious reason why these would not fit?
  18. I would like to investigate what my options are for using a decal on the centre caps with the standard 18's. I assume the standard centre caps will be hopeless due to the embossed emblem. Does anyone know what centre caps I might use. Ideally I would go for a set of flat caps from another car which I could pick up secondhand for minimal money. Would this be possible. What size centre caps would I need and does anyone know of any flat ones which might fit? Cheers Shinjuku
  19. This is what I was thinking of. They look pretty nice. My wheel refurbisher might do them. I will check.
  20. Am I right in thinking that pro refurbishers who remove tyres strip old paint etc use powder coat.
