  1. My malawi cichlid display tank. The tank's been running about a year now. Cheaper than marine, but still expensive!!
  2. Thanks for the comments everyone Will be topped off with a layer of dodo juice wax this weekend
  3. What started out as a quick wash, turned into a 7h detailing session yesterday Washed, clayed (Bilt Hamber soft), AG SRP, AG EGP, Beer!
  4. Are these Nissan OEM ones or aftermarket?
  5. Meguiars clay kit is pretty good, I've used it on previous cars with good results, it's expensive though for the amount of clay you get. Bilt hamber clay is also highly rated on detailing world, comes in medium and soft and is much better value - I've just bought myself some soft as apparently it's easier to mould in colder weather. Also, you can use water with the Bilt Hamber, whereas you need to use lube/detailing spray with the Megs
  6. Yes, live in York so about 25 mins drive from Prestige. Would definitely recommend them, seemed to have some quality cars in. No probs with the Z so far, loving it! ..and thanks everyone for the warm welcome
  7. Well picked up my new Zed on Christmas eve, been looking for ages for one and then stumbled across this beauty in a garage in Selby Late 2008 313 GT in Twightlight Grey with full Nissan service history. 3k, yes 3k miles from new!! Everything checked out with the service history and spoke to the previous owner who used it as a third/weekend car. The previous owner had a few extras fitted from new - chrome sill steps, nissan fitted Clarion mp3 kit, tonneau cover etc. Absolutely made up, the car is totally mint - drives like new, the mats are unmarked, even the bridgestones are like new! A years warranty, decent part-ex price on my CTR and full polish/wax treatment sealed the deal First impressions - wow, I love this thing! Best xmas present ever! Few pictures from the dealers advert.
  8. Lucky! I had a 2ft ridge tile lying half way down the roof this morning, if had fallen down to the drive if would have gone straight onto my week old zed
  9. totally different! Had the car for almost a week and i love it. The integra/accord type r's i have had have been great and feel more chuckable but the 350z just feels so solid. Still find myself wanting to always drop the gears to get the power as with the type r's this was the only way to get the full power out of it. Still got a honda accord type r but its just going to sit about. I am going to sell it! All i can say is i am in love with the 350z already. Already planning some rota grids and a new ICE system Fantastic mate! Took my first Z out for a test drive this weekend, absolutely loved it! Feels so much more solid and muscular than my CTR. Love all the toys compared to the civic! Couldn't quite believe the growl when I started it up! Deposit put down, am hoping to pick it up this weekend - can't wait Thread to follow...
