A 182 trophy would be ideal, but only in red, which i don't think suits it. It's got to blue or black for the Clio in my opinion

You have to take most 'claims' with a pinch of salt. One advert had a 172 cup with a exhaust system and a superchip, increasing- 0-60 in 5.5 Okay then

Didn't realise you can get the 3.2 on the GT http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p Quite alot of car for the money, but terrible running costs

Has no-one got anything good to say about the celica? I think i'd personally go for the 182, although i have seen this that looks a nice track toy. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120973469152? ... 622wt_1397 The rx-8 probably isn't the best choice for me as i do quiet a few short journeys and from what i've read that's the worst thing for a rotary engine. If i change jobs to a further commute then it'll be straight to the top of my list. Not a fan of the GTI-6 looks or the GTV, i do like the Alfa GT, but i think it's probably not quite got the pace/fun the clio/celica would have.

Don't like the looks of the Integra personally. Is there any difference performance wise with the Clio.172/182. I imagine it'll be barely.noticeable? I'll have to go for a test drive first. Looking at fiat coupes turbo's could be the cheap thrills I'm after, if theres many left with low miles. A future classic?

I do like the rx-8. But have been put off by the horror stories. What about the long term life of the engines?fuel consumption isn't a big issue for me. Good call
  7. Looking for my downgrade after the z has gone. So far my favourites are the Clio 182 and Celica 190. Both cars appear to be almost the same performance wise, i'm leaning more towards the Celica on build quality. Either can be picked up on an 04' plate with around 60k miles for below 4k, with the Clio being slightly cheaper. Has anyone much experience with either? Any other recommendations? Can deviate from the below within reason. No convertibles 2k-4kish Lower than 80k miles Less than 10 years old Something that will put a smile.on.my face.
  8. They certainly managed to butcher a 2.7 v6 I might just go sub 1k and put the money in the bank till i can afford a car i really want a few years down the line.
  9. Had a good long search for alternatives today. Most sensible option, I do like these but have never liked diesels. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p Somewhere Inbetween http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p And what I want http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p And alternatively http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p
  10. Saving pennies, and about to be a parent, does not compute. Congratulations by the way. Too early to know if it will be a Zed or Zedette? True Won't find out till next month, Hoping for a boy but other half wants a girl, she always gets her way so..............
  11. She has but with the work patterns we have we'd need 2 sensible cars I'm sure i can find something practical that won't be too boring.
  12. Cheers mate, i am well pleased, i'll just miss it, but your right, if I save my pennies, few years down the line, and a 370z will go down nicely, i'll be the cool dad at school
  13. Good news is my girlfriend is pregnant and i'm over the moon at the thought of becoming a dad (being trying for a year now) Bad news is it looks like my zed will have to make way I love this car but practicality has to come first and a bit of extra funds will help with a young one on the way. Looking at prospective cars, i'm trying my best to avoid a diesel but when looking at the mpg/ torque compared to their petrol counterparts it looks attractive. Depressing having to think about possibly getting a diesel My insurance is due mid September so it makes sense to sell soon, willl likely put an add up shortly, boo
  14. I like to be honest to, but you can certainly word things better as said above, i think £6500 is a fair price mate.
  15. Cayman s for me, just prefer the looks, simple as that.
  16. Arghh! Kill it, kill it now.
  17. That's some serious dedication! OCD for sure
  18. Ouch, this is a good advert to those thinking of street drifting.
