  1. FINAL REDUCTION £6299. Bottom of thread. Unfortunately I'm having to offer my lovely 350z GT 300 for sale due to a property investment. This is the second 350z I've owned. I haven't had this one for all that long which is unfortunate as it's a lovely car throughout. As soon as I have enough capital again towards the end of 2013/early 2014 I will be sure to purchase another 300 revup as I believe they are fantastic value for money. The car: 2006 UK Nissan 350z Gunmetal Grey facelift 300bhp revup GT model. - Standard Bose sound system (all speakers working etc) - Black heated leather interior (perfect condition) - Standard Rays 18" wheels - Full cat back stainless steel true dual exhaust system with lifetime guarantee. Only 2 months old. - S2000 stubby aerial. - New EBC grooved brake discs front and back. - EBC Yellow stuff brake pads front and back. - K&N panel filter in original MY06 airbox. - Genuine 350z cargo net. - Genuine 350z floor mats & boot mat. - Bluetooth hands free (all working). - Brand new Falken fk452 tyres x 4. - Folding wing mirrors. - Traction control. - Limited slip differential. - Cruise control. - Bi Xenon HID headlights. - LED tail lights. - Rear parking sensors. This car is a genuinely superb example of the 300 revup. It has none of the common issues. It does not burn oil and returns good MPG compared with my previous 350z. It's recently had a full service and spark plugs changed. It has full service history in the original leather wallet along with the spare key. 10months tax and mot. Very good condition throughout. Car has covered 90,000 motorway miles, has been enthusiast owned and looked after to a very high standard from new. Always run on high octane fuel. I will genuinely be very sorry to see her go. I'm asking for £6600 for a sharpish sale. Photos can be seen on the following links. http://s41.beta.phot...V15/library/Zed I'm sure I will have missed lots of detail out so please don't hesitate to get in touch with any questions or for more photos. 2. http://s41.beta.photobucket.com/user/L4V15/library/Zed This is my current Zed. Needs lowering and spacing yet. Will upload some of my previous one following this post
  3. Might be fine if you get used to double clutching on that gear change. Is it only at high rpm?
  4. Hi chaps. Recently noticed some rattling from my front near side corner when going over bumps at low speeds in the 350z. It tends to stop once I've been driving for 5mins or so which is strange. Last time I drove it though it had turned into a horrible creaking noise instead of a rattling. I can't see anything obvious, but sounds suspension related? Any ideas what I should be checking first? Any subjection s would be massively appreciated. Thanks in advance. Steve
  5. Looks good. I've bought some Tein springs. Havent got round to fitting them yet but now considering selling them and getting the K Sport if you think the quality is decent. Was a bit dubious about buying K Sport but the drop looks really good on yours. The Tein drop is hardly noticeable but I know the handeling and ride will be much improved.
  6. I'm in Truro too. This is mine http://s41.beta.photobucket.com/user/L4V15/library/Zed Had a grey 54plate Nismo beforehand. Don't think I've seen that blue 370z about but definitely spotted the 54plate Kuro once or twice. Normally when in the work van though

  8. How are the springs feeling?
  9. Where are you based Daryl?
  10. Cured! MAF needed a clean. Getting 34MPG on a run again now.
  11. Well it' been driven loads since the 24th and appears to be cured. Bought some electrical contact cleaner as recommended, cleaned everything I could find including MAF. Also bought some air intake cleaner spray to give the throttle body valve a bit of a clean. Guessing it was one or the other. Thanks for all the help! Now all perfect and ready to sell
  12. Ok great. Thankyou very much. There was a dribble of water on it to be honest when I was checking earlier. Just a bit where it plugs in. I'll try carb cleaner. I'm guessing that's the spray stuff. Thanks again.
  13. Ideal, thanks d block. That's air fuel ratio sensor metre. Is that something I can just replace?
  14. Really? That sounds good. I'll have a search. I'm in Cornwall.
  15. I'd rather not be billed for bugger all for a second time. Garages seem to be so crap at diagnosing 350z's. was the same with my last one when it was throwing cel's. nobody ever found out what was wrong with it. I'm guessing nobody else has had a problem like this with the recent bad weather then
  16. They already have a week or so ago and have supposedly fixed it. Which is why I'm asking on here again. They plugged it in to diagnostics and told me in was a throttle fault. Caused by carbon deposits. Cleaned it all out and said that the throttle was no longer sticking. So it obviously wasn't that.
  17. So many different opinions! Somebody should start producing shortened oem quality spring mounts. That way it wouldn't feel like such a bodge job.
  18. Hope the video is long enough for Alex to be able to read the code

  20. It's happening again. Not sure whether its anything to do with heavy rain. It only happens then starting the engine from warm. Then you can let her cool down all day or over night and it lets to reset the ecu again and starts and drives fine. Then you stop it and start after an hour or so and if its still warm it goes into limp mode again and throttle won't open passed 2000rpm max. Cel, traction control and abs lights are on. I'll try to get a vid of fault code on next post for one of you gents to diagnose for me. Cheers Steve
  21. How much are these from the traders?
  22. Yea fair do's. just wondering if anyone had done it. I'll just fit the springs. At least it'll be lower than standard with a decent ride and hopefully still be practable. What are tein flex? That looks sweet.
  23. Hi chaps. Got some tein s techs on the way. Apparently they keep a decent ride but they don't seem to drop the rear massively. Just wondering whether anyone on here has heard of or done the 'spring mount mod'? If so is it safe or is it not a good thing to do for any reason? It's basically where you shave off 10mm or less off your rear spring mounts when fittings the springs to give it a little more drop. What are the thoughts? Regards Steve
  24. Wahoo, just renewed mine with Bell. £419 for 12months. 25years old. They took out a renewal automatically at £600. So I checked on Confused.com. Noticed that I could get it for £510 or so with Admiral so phoned up Bell and tried to cancel for a refund. Instead they said they will try to match it, then got it down to £419! Mental. Refund on the way. Defo worth the phone call and a good old moan.
