  1. what part of NI you from mate? I live in Edinburgh now but originally from Lisburn. Getting married there in about a week! Yikes! Congrats on the purchase - you picked the best colour!
  2. Looking I thought it had been photoshopped or something - almost jumps out of the photo it's so shiney!
  3. i'm based in bonnie scotland but my zed's from Newcastle!
  4. Yes heard Nobles are very expensive so won't be going there! That's a good price for all the work you got done at Stenhouse Motors - I'll bear them in mind as they're just down the road from me I spoke to zmanalex and he can service the zed for me aswell so that's another option. I wonder if he'll give me a GTR as a courtesy car! But first I need to sort out my exhaust! Got me a stillen y pipe ordered from Tarmac and got my eye on his Tanabe too! So much for keeping it stock! What colour/spec is your zed? I'll keep an eye out for you
  5. 8:45 this morning on the way to work at the roundabout near pcworld. Nice rims rotas?
  6. I'll part exchange my OEM backbox (the one I bought from Husky) for your Tanabe - I might be interested in a stillen y-pipe as well I won't pull your pants down as far as the others! PM me if you're interested
  7. - i bought the first one I went to see! impulse buy but it turned out ok apart from the exhaust which was on its way out. Happy
  8. good luck with the zed hunt Get a gunmetal one if u can - they're faster!
  9. He sold that as I wanted it It's on the back of my zed now!
  10. I started boarding last year using my mates old Ride Timeless and hated it! not really a beginners board so I was catching an edge left, right and centre! It wasn't until I got my own board that I started to pick it up and enjoy it a lot more - my current setup is K2 Anagram board, Burton Mission bindings and Salomon Synapse boots. The Anagram is slightly rockered at the tips which means I don't catch an edge as much and is a great beginners all-mountain/freestyle board - defo recommend it! Went to La Plagne in January this year which was epic - although it didn't snow a single flake while I was there, the snow was still good as it is relative high altitude Indoor slopes are ok to learn on but do get a bit boring once you're able to link your turns. Better to get your ass up to the highlands when it starts snowing - we had some pretty good snow last season! I'm quite lucky as I can just drive up when the weather is right! Which reminds me - anyone tried fitting their snowboard gear in the zed before?
  11. Hi and - where are you based? I picked up my zed a few weeks ago - same spec and colour but not quite as mint as yours!
  12. 2nd dibs on the pop charger if threefiftyz doesn't want it!
  13. Ouch! - looks like someone saw him come off and stops on the hard shoulder to have a look but doesn't get out to help!
  14. from a fellow noob - haven't stopped smiling since I got my zed a few weeks ago!
  15. One of the reasons I went for a pre 06 zed! That and the fact that couldn't afford a post 06 one!
  16. Yes, husky's backbox was defo a goodun and about the same price as I could find anywhere else too! I was originally thinking of a milltek but have heard this isn't much louder than stock. I dont want to go too loud either so probably go for k2. Am I right in thinking k2 is slightly louder than milltek? K1 probably too
  17. Last gig: Kings of Leon - June @ Murrayfield - Awesome! Last album: Gaslight Anthem - 59 Sound
  18. The sun came out for 5 mins after the torrential downpour today so I took the opportunity to take some pictures of my new zed Thumbs up to Huskey for supplying the OEM back box in super quick time as my old one had rusted away at the flange - as you can see from the pics, he's polished my tip nicely (ooh err!) Only problem now is that I think it's too quiet now so I'll probably be changing it for a stainless steel one soon! So much for keeping is completely stock as I promised myself I would!
  19. Feel for ya m8 Just picked up my zed last week n already got exhaust problems but thats nothing compared to that! Hope u get it sorted soon n they catch the knob(s) responsible.
  20. Not normally a fan of yellow but colour suits the zed well. Jealous...
  21. Zed looks sweet in black when nice n shiny like that!
  22. Cheers for the warm welcome guys Will try and get some pics up when I've given her a good clean - car is totally standard so I guess you've seen a few gunmetal coupes before - seems a popular colour! I'm based in Edinburgh - would have loved to have gone to the meet at Braehead but I'm in Northern Ireland this weekend making arrangements for my wedding! Meet probably would have been more interesting than picking flowers for the wedding venue Hope the other half doesn't read this! I kinda like the stock sound - I'd probably look at something relatively quiet if I went aftermarket - I believe milltek is pretty quiet - any other quiet-ish exhausts people recommend? I'll drop ZMANALEX a PM about serving and backbox as soon as I work out how to PM! Cheers
  23. Hi guys and girls Just picked up my 54 reg gunmetal gt coupe last week and luvvin it!!! - More fun than the Mazda 6 MPS it has replaced! Gear knob was a bit worn so first mod was replacing it with nicer OEM one I found on fleabay for £40. Managed to fit it following some helpful posts on this forum i.e. use brute force! The prevous owner had serviced it based on mileage rather than age (there's only 44k on the clock) and last 2 services were at an independent garage so I want to give her a good full service soon to be on the safe side. You guys don't paint a rosie picture of the nissan stealer network when it comes to servicing so I'm looking for a good garage to take her to in central Scotland - anyone know if ZMANALEX still does servicing? Also, anyone got a cheap OEM backbox for sale as looks like mines has just broken between the centre pipe and backbox - sounds like this is quite common on older zeds. Cheers
