personally, I don't rate american muscle cars on UK roads, it just doesn't seem to fit. the same way big american trucks that are imported look on UK roads.. no doubt though that they are most likely "awesome"

Agreed, some better fitting/holding seats would do for me too, I'd have to get Bride's though I think. Although, saying that, these Nismo Edition(still OEM) seats from the eBay advert look interesting..... I believe these are the standard Nismo seats for the Z and they're not tooooooo bad, but yes - some red brides would look better

I've not done it myself but I've seen plenty with it done and it does neaten the back up a good deal. Yes, semi translucent vinyl will do it, not sure what you have to use to keep it legal mind you. On a dark car (IIRC you're getting a black NISMO) this is very effective. Yep that's right, ok good idea, will get onto a trader to get some when the zed arrives

I agree there are lots for sale across the country, but in over a years ownership I have never seen another in Oxfordshire, perhaps they just avoid me. I live in Oxfordshire!
