  3. I rarely wax lyrical about a TV show, but I think this is quite possibly the best series I have ever seen. I was addicted to series 1, and couldn’t wait for series 2. After just completing the final episode last night, I was concerned that the second series wouldn’t be as good as the first. It didn’t disappoint. The attention to detail with the sets and costumes (even the language) was of movie standard throughout. Notable performances from Steve Buscemi who’s portrayal never failed to entertain, and the moody self-loathing of Michael Pitt’s character, stood out amongst a fantastic cast. The noticeable thing about these high budget HBO offerings, is the detail and depth of the characters. Like Tony Soprano, you are constantly torn between sympathy and hatred of the characters, which keeps you re-evaluating your expectations of these highly layered individuals. It was also interesting to see a perspective of the impact of WW1 on American culture, leading to the conflicts and over reactions, in a changing society which was torn by Victorian ideologies and battle hardened veterans, who were so mentally unbalanced by their experiences, violence was a natural release. The close proximity to the war and the rise of the classic gangster film, was something that I hadn’t really considered until this series. In closing, if you haven’t had the opportunity to see either series, and you like well written sex, violence and bad language. This is the series for you! If you are currently engaged, please listen to the closing credits music, on the last episode of series 2. I couldn’t believe it !!!
  4. Incredible really. I would have been spewing at the arm of bit, never mind the rest of that horrific experience.
  5. I got an ear infection for Christmas, but I have to say it wasn’t my favourite
  6. Good luck with the new car. If it has been an ex demo check ALL the plastics for scratches and the roller boot cover for holes, they are quite fragile. Also excessive stone chipping on the front end and check no one has bottomed it out on a speed hump or something. The car NEEDS two keys they are £250 to replace and a full hand book pack with the service book & Nav stuff. Sounds obvious but scrutinise the alloys inside and out, if they are marked ALL the wheels have to be re frurb'd because of the colouring
  7. That said, I would still rather have ago with this..... http://www.teslamotors.com/models/features#/performance
  8. LEAF: One year on… Posted on 21 December 2011 by Editor ZERO to 20,000 EVs in just one year. That’s the Nissan LEAF sales story since the first delivery in Petaluma, California, in December 2010. The world’s first mass-market, 100 per cent electric vehicle is now found on five continents, in countries from Japan to South Africa, with 57 million kilometres on the odometer, some three million litres of fuel saved, and 7,300 tons less of CO2 in the air. It’s an incredible tale of progress and Nissan have released a video to celebrate the occasion, which you can watch below… http://www.youtube.com/embed/x7NkiyNE3jo Did you know? Nissan’s first foray into EVs began in 1947 with the Tama Electric Car. Its more modern migration to electric vehicles, though, can be traced to 1992, when Nissan started to develop EV batteries. One year ago, Silicon Valley entrepreneur Olivier Chalouhi became the first person in the United States to own a LEAF. By March of this year, more than 5,000 LEAFs had been sold, mostly in Japan, while sales were starting up in the US and Europe. The LEAF is now available in 30 US states, with plans for nationwide sales by March, while the global rollout continues. Penetration has been dependent on collaboration. LEAF is the first of eight EV models across the Renault-Nissan Alliance. Altogether, the Alliance aims to produce 1.5 million EVs by 2016, while CEO Carlos Ghosn expects electric vehicles to be 10 per cent of the market in 10 years

Yes agreed, on the NMGB intranet (where I get the "Editor Posts" from) there is a bit on the GT academy but nothing uploadable, in addition the on Motor Sport they do post is on the GT Cars, but thats about it sadly.

We offer it but only as an offer not as a part of a standard Nissan service which I think speaks odor it's self really. However before completely poo pooing the paradime I would likecto check this with our workshop controller, but it would be on Monday I'm afraid T
