  1. The Ipod one really made me chuckle but sadly recently it seems "I'm thinking about selling my car, how much is it worth?" is the most appropriate nowadays
  2. to the forums bud. Nice example of a Fiat Coupe you have there, my mate has a modified one and i must say they are very quick for what they are. You will find Zed isnt as fast as what your used too but i guarantee it will put a bigger smile on your face driving it
  3. Hey mate, yeah i will definatley be coming to as many meets and stuff as pos. Sadly the two companies which were gonna use my car as a show car are no longer trading as normal so will have plenty of free weekends Needs to get a few bits meshed and a couple of bits touched up and then im all good. When is the next meet thats close to london anyway?
  4. Funnily enough the clucth in mine went about a week after i bought it. I was told its not uncommon for them to only last 40K miles (dont know how much yours has done tho) As shire said get a new flywheel done while you are there as they have a tendancy to go at the same time or get partially damaged when the clutch does go. I was recommended to get a standard clutch as they are pretty good and i got a lightened flywheel. Unfortunately ESR are no longer trading due to unforseen circumsatnces but im sure you wont have probs finding a trader on this site to do you a deal. All the best and good luck with it.
  5. Quality, took me ages to read it properly
  6. As others have said Bluetooth kit is the way to go. If theres no aux inputs on the DVD player i dont think you are gonna have much luck with sat nav or ipod options. Might be best to rip it all out and start again if you really want sat nav.
  7. found these: Reviews seem quite good but the down side is that it has no Sat Nav and for a little extra you can get units with sat nav built in. All depends on your needs at the end of the day.

    Veyron VS R1

Probably a repost but my mate sent me this link earlier, totally amazing
  9. Will also match his hairdresser image nicely
  10. That is very cool, my area isnt listed unfortunatley but good to look around some familiar areas of london.
  11. All headunits will most likely have 4 sets of connections for front and reaer speakers. So lets say your one speaker is plugged into front right, you can put your new speakers in rear left and rear right. Then you can also fade between front and rear to swap sound between the deck and the cabin
  12. Im sure any garage that has a space would jump at the chance, its like you have your own customers already. Just a bit of a shame your so far away from me.
  13. Im sure any headunit and a pair of cheap speakers will be fine for your needs. Pretty easy to wire up just a case of how/where your gonna mount your speakers.
  14. I hate that word Fenders J, there wings in this country ya know lol bet you say sidewalk and everything dont ya
  15. Cheers J There must be quite a few out there now. Veilside arent making the kit no more so there wont be anymore official ones from now on. So they will be a dying breed now, im personally dreading anything happening cos i wont be able to get replacements easy.
  16. Lucky you, my pound sign key doesn't work. I have to cut and paste it in all the time or just write quid You probably have a US keyboard layout set in your control panel. Anyway to make you life easy to add a pound sign hold down the left alt key and on your numeric pad key in 0163, release the alt key and voila a pound sign £ £
  17. You know your just gonna buy another ZED!
  18. Definatley a good sunday DIY job how hard depends on one thing really and that is how is the stereo you have no been installed. If its been installed using proper ISO connectors its a simple case of unplug old HU plug in new one. If on the other hand its had the standard loom cut to fit the headunit you may need a little guidance on what wire is what but theres plenty ppl on here who can point you in the right direction.
  19. You would notice and thats the main thing at the end of the day. I think it all depdns on what you car looks like now. If its standard looking the Ings would look better imo. If you want people to notice the spoiler on the back you cant beat the one on mine
  20. I have a Kenwood DNX-7200, is fully touch screen, built in Garmin Navigation, DVD/media player, and bluetooth phone control with seperate bluetooth control box. It also has usb cable on back which you can easily use with the Kenwood Ipod cable for both audio and video. I had the DNX-5220 before but it was stolen when my car was in the garage having its kit fitted (long story). Both are very good headunits and because you already have a aftermarket headunit should be very easy to install. The center console comes out very easy and then theres 4 screws holding the headunit in. They are quite pricey headunits, with the bluetooth you will be looking at around £619 for the 5220 and £669 for the 7200. If you go down that route try www.justkenwood.co.uk. If you need any more info PM me.
  21. Im from Bedford mate, so not that far away. Was down that way last weekend, popped to that revenge cruise thing that was on.
  22. Ill also be up for this, show some of you guys my beast in the flesh
  23. I just want one front and one rear. I know there are 4 different colour options also so just wanted to point out im after the ones in pic above. cheers mate
