  2. Just a quick bump, if you havent yet voted please vote for one of us, we need all the help we can get by the looks of it
  3. Maybe some plumbing pipe thats slightly bigger to slide over the join then drill some holes through and secure with some pins. Either that or lots of duc tape.
  4. Thanks guys, also saw this link to what will be published in the magazine, looks quite cool http://www.totalcarmagazines.co.uk/imag ... l_2010.pdf
  5. I know Paul has a thread about this and I didn't feel comfortable posting in his thread although only having one thread would be the best idea. If your not aware there are a few of us that have made the final of the Total Nissan idol competition so if you can pop a few votes in throughout the month for your favourite we will all be grateful. Heres the link http://www.totalcarmagazines.co.uk/idol ... L-2010.htm
  6. Probably cos its the end of the season and the shows have gradually been getting worse last few months. I was originally going but have pulled out, looking forward to next years shows
  7. My car will be in the final of the Total Nissan Idol competition due to run next month and they requested some rather specific photos of the car. So I got a professional photographer who works for my company to take some quick shots at lunch time today. I must say im no expert on taking pictures, I normally leave all that stuff to Darren and Chris at the shows but I was amazed at how good the results are when using a top quality camera. I am so impressed I thought I would share with you guys.
  8. The magazine said "Surely Veilside cars have had there day, Lambo doors definately have". I was quite shocked when I read it to tell you the truth, as its one of the only Jap mags I like and I do buy it regularly. Like everyone they are entitled to their own opinion, I guess they just want to see Subarus with Colin Macrae decals because at the show the pic was taken there were hundreds.
  9. Spoke to Mark about this at Santa Pod today and he says part of the Uprev process removes the elastic effect from the throttle cable so i think the throttle controller will be surplus to requirement after the remap.
  10. Ill be waiting outsde on the main road for you guys as that meeting place is not good for me
  11. Im occasionally in St. Albans at London Colney but you have any trouble recognising mine.
  12. Where are you based and what area are you willing to operate in?
  13. This is the one i use and its very good http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/dodo ... towel.aspx
  14. Well they do say you cant polish a turd, i think you had a good go though See you Sunday pal
  15. Wheel Genie in Huntingdon is also good and where I got mine done
  16. Back in ya box you! Chris i love the astra power too, probably done more show in my astra than a few members
  17. Thats not a nice way to talk about James's car, i mean i know its a bit shabby around the edges but I wouldn't go as far as to call it a shed. Was a great weekend as expected. Had some great fun on the Sunday drive, nice to meet up with the old faces and meet a few new ones. Thanks to Colin for his superb organising skills as always. Was a pleasure following Ian around Wales once again but very strange to here Darren likes it at the back these days
  18. Hi Chris I did see you flashing like a mad man and apologise for not waving, i often get flashed by random people so tend to take no notice of it if its not a zed or another modified car. I did however think after about a mile down the road that it might of been you and wished i had at least acknowledged you. So once again my appologies hope this makes up for it:
  19. Just a standard one Dan?
  20. Heres what mine used to look like
  21. Try find Tokyo Extreme Racer for the ps2, the game is seriously crap but the addiction level is high. Me and my house mate played that game for 3 days straight with no sleep. Timesplitters 1 and 2 are probably my favourite games on the ps2, pure classics. Just thinking about thise games makes me want to get my ps2 out the loft
  22. The shed will pay for itself if you buy the right one, well mine does anyway just in the petrol saving.
  23. My shed is the best car ive ever owned, and its probably more reliable than the zed so far. If I spent £1K on a second car I would want to still look after it. £300 shed i dont give a toss, park it how I like where I like and do what I like in it. If it breaks down ill set fire to it and buy another and still be in pocket
  24. I think the problem is there is no active event organiser that covers Santa Pod. Ill pm one and find out what goes on.
  25. the beta is free yeah, 11mb install tho
