  1. He looks cool, very jealous, choc Labs are my favourite.
  2. Good simple/cheep idea. You'd need to tighten the bolt in to the car, then fix/weld the plate mount to ensure correct/horizontal alignment.
  3. I have a Benen tow hook spare. If you are interested drop me a PM.
  4. Sorry to hear you've lost the love for the Zed. Bad times! I'd be interested in the plenum spacer and lip depending on price. Feel free to drop me a pm.
  5. Only thing I'd say is be warry of stone chips, airfields don't seem to be a clean as tracks. Saying that, Javelin now have a large blower they use to clean the circuit before the day, so that should help. Also worth doing a 5 or 6 laps than having a cooling off period, then repeat.
  6. I was so inspired I've ordered the materials! Hope it turns out as well as yours. Wonder if it'll cut some of the K1 drone out?!
  7. Great design work and impressive flow modles. What program do you use? Can't wait to see the pics of it fitted. Top work.

  12. It actually reduces the risk of burn. In effect the pad is continually moving in 2 directions, avoiding the risk of burn which rotary machines have the risk of if not used correctly. That makes sense, thanks. Wouldn't want to melt a patch of plasitc!!
  13. Defo something I want to do soon, CD's are old school enough, let alone cassettes!! Looking to use an Apple dock connectoir to L+R RCA, Video RCA and USB. Hopefully I can use teh L+R for the hack and the Video to a screen in the future. Also mod teh USB so I can charge at teh same time! Great work on the 3.5mm female install, looks OEM.
  14. I see, cheers for clearing that up. Guess the oscillating helps reduce swirls.
  15. Cheers guys. Must admit the hod wasn't ideal!! Codel, any pics of yours? Be interested to see, cheers. flexib, of course. Think the missus will be taking it down there tonight after work. If not, we'll probably be there in in Sat am some time!
  16. Time to sound daft!! Whats a DA?
  17. Well, my drivers door handle was a state and I had been planning to sand/paint etc. But I had an offcut of some black vinyl at work. So I took off the offending article and had a play. Unfortunately I didn't have a heat gun or hair dryer available, so I used the gas hob. Not ideal as you can't localise the heat very well. Results aren't terrible, but need to get some better grade vinyl in a matte finish. Thinking if I do both handles I should probably do the air vents as well and maybe the centre console?!
  18. I must admit I use some black T-Cut that I had left over from a previous car! Just made sure not to get any on the paint work. Have heard toothpaste works too?!
  19. After seeing a few recomendatins on here on how to restore the front head lights, i found an old bottle of T-Cut in the garage, grrabbed a cloth and within quarter of an hour both front light are looking ten times better. Shame about all the stone chips! Not sure I'm brave enought to use a fine wet/dry and buff back!
  20. Crime prevention! I received a parking fine last month for a Mitzy Shogun in London that had my Zed's plates on. They got my address from the DVLA but didn't/don't check the vehicle against the reg!!
  21. I'm supposed to be before the Daisy's are taller than the cat. But a gym session is calling!! Spot of tyre flipping if the rain holds off!! excersise is next on my to do list today. started 2 weeks ago and have managed to lose about half a stone. Wow, great effort buddy. Most people aim for 1-2lb per week!! Hope you get in to a good routine, once you break it, it's hard to get going again!! Leg season done, done in now.
