  1. They are tuners that know how to tune a car properly, no need to rebuild the gearbox on each supercharger build, but won't modify this car, rest assured

  6. Forgot to post in here, unfortunately Bruno is no longer with us, we've all cried like little babies when he had to go, losing the battle with cancer For a few weeks we did not want to get another dog, but after a while we realised the house is empty and we're missing having somebody to greet us and play with us when we're back home. We decided to get another puppy, this time a great dane. Been in touch to a few champ breeders and we've luckly found a litter born in November. Here are some photos with the puppies at 4 weeks old: And this is ours We'll be picking him up for xmas. We still miss Bruno like hell, though...

  8. Really?!?!?!?! ========= A judge has banned so-called car cruising events across the Black Country. Four councils - Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley and Sandwell and West Midlands Police - wanted to ban the events, where drivers race or show off their vehicles on public roads. People taking part, organising or promoting them will now be arrested under a three-year injunction. A judge at Birmingham High Court said it was a "proper measure". The court heard more than 100 statements had been taken from police and members of the public witnessing large gatherings of people and cars along the Black Country route, which cuts through parts of the combined local authority areas. The authorities submitted a joint application to avoid the problem of drivers relocating to another nearby area. Wolverhampton City Council said they take place on a regular basis at a number of "hotspots" along the route, including in Bilston and Birmingham New Road on the border of Wolverhampton and Dudley. The meetings can attract up to 250 vehicles and hundreds of spectators. But District Judge Gailey refused to include spectators as part of the injunctions, despite an attempt by the authorities. He said he was reluctant to grant an order "so wide in terms it's going to cause problems later on". He also questioned the role of police responding to the events and if there was an "element of convenience" to having an injunction in place. 'Pleased with result' But Jospeh Giret QC, representing the councils and police, said officers had been working hard to stop racing and to limit the dangers associated with it, as 31 accidents had occurred at events. He said arrests had been made, barriers constructed and cars seized. 'Police are dealing with measured resources. They cannot do everything," he said. Granting the injunction, Judge Gailey said there was a "real problem" of car cruising in the area and an injunction would be the "proper measure". The injunction prohibits two or more vehicles gathering in the combined local authority area "known generally as the Black Country" between 15:00 and 07:00 GMT. A spokesman for Wolverhampton City Council, which led the challenge, said the authorities were satisfied with the result.
  9. How about a driver lap? More than welcome to drive it, sir William! Engine in US ready to be stripped, but makes me think if is worth, the amount of power available on the car now is just STUPID, not even silly anymore... Will see how it feels after enjoying it for a few months.
  10. Leaving home soon! Get a pair of nappies handy, some wet tissues and some pills to keep you from crying like a baby! :lol
  11. Thanks a lot Darren, Mike, Modjo, Bennett, Taras and Jez for making this possible!
  12. The colour was one of the key reasons why I wanted this one, it's different, so many silver and blacks on the road You tend to ignore this aspect if you're buying a 4.4L engine... Haven't started it for 2-3 weeks now, will drive it on Friday Yep, didn't like the pre-facelift version also. Thanks!
  13. Yes, I need to dip them, I hate them as well Must resist, must resist, I'm closing the browser!!!
  14. Decided to get rid of the old Landrover Freelander and try a new toy that should help in taking my daughter to school, or for shopping and so on, something to waft around in. Went to see the car on Thursday and collected it on Friday, paid for it on Saturday Bloody Barclays bank won't let the payment go through. Anyway, here is the new toy, which I fell in love with, a lot of car for the money if you ask me Needs a bit of TLC, but it's in good condition overall. Few problems needed a little bit of attention: - The Panoramic sunroof did not work properly, but after a little bit of work, it now functions perfectly well. Had to remove some plastic bits, springs and also cut some plastic pins using a dremmel, it's a well known fault on the BMW with sunroofs - The radio / amp module is water damaged, rusted and corroded, ordered a new one from eBay: - The headlamps are a bit hazy, will have to clean on next weekend when I'm back First mod due, the sound and satnav, the existing one is crap, old and nearly useless. Found a company that does some Android based system that looks OEM and comes with all possible tech specs: BT, GPS, WiFi, DAB, DVB-T etc, and is not extremely expensive, being on Sale now until November 30th. Nice toy, so far I'm pleased with it, will see how it goes... P.S. Must resist http://www.esstuning...e-Software.html
