  12. We've then prepared the tools for iLittle, only to realise that he went to Wales instead, didn't come over to help as he promised 360 degrees drift on the driveway, we've moved the car back in the garage and started reconnecting the puzzle: Forgot again to warn Papa again before taking photos, he wasn't very pleased Back to some more work, engine in, gearbox in: Darren looking pretty accomplished Cleaning the starter motor thread: Off to bed for a few hours and go on with some more work
  13. We started bright and early, about 10:30 We arrived @ Darren's and immediately started working... on the tea, biscuits, banter, more banter, even more banter. Then we devised a bracket for the propshaft As we've finished that, Papa went onto cutting the bolts for the engine mounts, which we later found out there where wrong size. Thanks for that Papa, very useful! 360 degrees drift on the driveway later, we've took the engine out from where it was hidden ages ago and star preparing the car to receive its newly refurbished heart! While some of us were playing with the engine and the crane, other went onto dealing with the fuel components in the back: lines, tank, fuel cap etc Engine mounts in, ready to support the heart: New clutch, flywheel, bearings etc going in: New vs old: Degreasing and Perfection Obsessive Disorder kicked in, Darren couldn't help himself Then we've changed the spark-plugs, not before adjusting the gap to be 0.8-0.9mm according to the distructions manual Aaaaaaaand in it went! At some stage I got myself into trouble, the governor told me off for not asking him to suck his belly in, I mean muscles while I'm taking photos where he's in Darren over the moon and best pleased when the heart was in, get few more steps closer to the day it will be reconnected and started... well, within few hours, it's nearly 2am now -- more to come --
