  1. So the reality is I 'have' money but I want it for the next house - therefore I want to spent as little as possible between now and the next role. It is rubbish, but I guess it is life. I will buy a small hatch of some description to tide me over - when in a new job I could always get a nice car again (assuming I'm not doing an epic by-road commute)...
  2. Some of you will be aware that I was recently made redundant. Despite a decent pay off, it seems silly having an awesome car when unemployed and claiming job seekers allowance... So I've made the decision to sell - the ad is with mods currently so expect it up soon. I'm gutted as I love the Zed (and this club) but think it is for the best. The interviews I've had have all been long drives away so, even if I get one of those jobs, I'd have 100 miles a day commute - I don't think I'd want to ruin my (perfect) Zed by ramping up the miles, getting dinged to hell in a car park etc. I'm obviously going to hang around here, whatever car I end up with - so this isn't 'goodbye'....! Rob
  3. As some of you aware, I have recently been made redundant from work – as such, it feels foolish to keep my Zed. The car is well known to several members on here, and has been loved and coveted by me during my ownership during the last 18 months or so. I’m looking for ‘top’ money for my car as I think it is one of the best out there and features many desirable additions / extras. Anyway, onto the details: Car details: · Ebisu Black 313 HR 350Z (2007) · 31k miles · Full and extensive service history – all paperwork kept. . Serviced at the end of last year (P1) plus I had the aux belts done too; P3 including spark plugs, all fluids etc. done the year before · 2 owners including me · MOT not due until Jun 2014 · Service next due end 2014 · Taxed until end March 2014 · HPI Clear / Never damaged Condition: · Interior is essentially mint – leather is unmarked, no wear – even the door handles (notoriously keen on picking up scratches) have hardly any · Exterior is 99% mint too – some stone chips on front bumper, and one on driver’s door (touched up) but otherwise perfect. As a detailer I’m pretty critical too…! · Rays wheels refurbished by the Wheel Specialist in Shadow Chrome – and are mint – unmarked and spotlessly clean. Extras: · Factory fitted GT Pack · Bluetooth phone module · Factory sat-nav plus 2013 maps · BOSE stereo works properly · Forum Tonneau Cover (Z logo) · Privacy cover for boot (combined with above = private boot) · Nissan ‘Z’ official boot liner . Cargo nets - passenger footwell and boot · 350z mats in great condition · Private plate N777 SMO (Nismo) I know most people ‘strip’ out the extras but I’d rather sell this as a package to an enthusiast owner if possible…! Modifications (All purchased by me, so < 18 months old): · Milltek Exhaust fitted by Mark @ Abbey · Real carbon mirror covers · Real carbon sill covers (rare ones with factory-style ‘dimples’) · Genuine Nismo Carbon Knob · DBA Brake discs and Ferodo DSF2500 pads · Tenda Cold Air Induction Kit (twin filter) · All tyres were fitted when I bought car and are Michelin Pilot Super Sports · PIAA Silicon Wipers All of the above is, as far as I was aware, the ‘top’ kit for the Zed – hence why I went with it…! I have the OEM airboxes with HKS panels which will come with the car too. The car literally needs nothing and has been the most reliable I’ve owned. Also the quickest and best sounding so I will miss it loads… I am looking for £11,900 ‘all in’. Car can be viewed in Haywards Heath – test drives only with fully comprehensive insurance please. Pics:
  4. For me, the difference comes when rinsing ... Cheap shampoos rarely rinse easily and leave smears everywhere... But it is an area, like many detailing products, where differences can be small
  5. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271369735331?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 This is 'my' listing - hope that is ok. Kit bought from ZMan on here... Cheers Rob

  7. All off except abs... And id recommend you play with full damange. Quickly weeds out the bumper car drivers...
  8. Let's setup a club race night once a week or something? Detailingworld do a btcc type thing Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  9. Yeah so does Banana Gloss - but unless washing in hot sun I've never had an issue with either... I'd say that for value the britemax probably tips it
  10. monkeyninja1983 'cos that was cool to me when the xbox came out years ago....
  11. I sold my ps3 and gt6. That's how much of a let down it was for me. Oh, and the ps4 siting under the TV Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  12. Yeah the reality being smears and probably 1 days protection Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  13. Does my drivatar ever feature? Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  14. I'm using the car chem stuff currently as it is custom so kinda fun,as far as shampoo goes
  15. Yup can be used with a sprayer that way. I find a bottle lasts a year or so without diluting so I don't tend to
  16. I'd recommend: Britemax Duragloss 901 Hubikote Hubiwash Autobrite Banana Gloss All good value - particularly the britemax - and very good. Essentially though anything without a 'wax' element to it
  17. Gtechniq is good too... But more expensive. The poor boys stuff can be used on door seals, tyres etc too.
  18. Next gen update from me.... XB1: SOLD Ryse - not keen Forza - feeling increasingly 'meh' about it as needs more tracks. Sheen has worn off for me (even though overall I still like it) Dead Rising 3 - the best game I own on this console. Really good fun. Ironically, probably the least graphically next gen. PS4 - now purchased too: Killzone - enjoying it very much and graphically amazing. Hard game though Knack - bit of fun, nothing special. See this getting traded in once bored / completed. PC: Upgraded the main rig to an R9 R290X (essentially higher spec by a long way than both consoles) Assassins Creed Black Flag - OMFG - everything turned up, 60 FPS all the time and still my favourite next gen game.... BF4 - Again, everything cranked to max and loving how it looks New Thief - got a DLC with the ATI card so looking forward to this. Overall: Well, the PC will always be technically more powerful than consoles - so I'm excluding this. The PS4, so far, is my preferred console for interface, form factor and controller (slightly on the latter point). XB1 is bigger, kinnect broke already, but games marginally better. Kinnect overall annoys me - never understands me properly so I see the appeal wearing off quickly.
  19. Bet it is one of his own brands... not that I mind. But the Hubikote shampoo (very good too) is his As is SlickRims (unsure - doesn't appear that great)
  20. That. Although I have been taken by that blind test product from Waxybox.... can't tell you what it is (yet) though. Yeah I liked it too - did Rich tell you?
  21. I stand by Poorboys Interior Dressing + it makes the car smell nice & lasts ages. Best finish I've ever seen is from Ultima Interior Trim (which is from the US) but poorboys is one of my staple products that I buy over and over again
  22. Yeah I find my width is an issue too. Gaffa tape helps. Boom Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
