  1. If your prep is 100% e.g. Perfectly machined, then a wax adds protection first and look second. My preference is synthetic, for additional gloss with some of the newer kit is noticeable - on detailing world there are tests with a gloss meter which 'proves' an lsp can add something extra to the look. I'd recommend supernatural hybrid or fk1000p for their blend of protection and look
  2. There you go mate, defo the best looking covers available for the zed. The other ones (goki?) are smooth without any of the oem moulded details
  3. Not the best angle but the only one I could find at the mo
  4. Have exactly those sill covers fitted on my zed. Bought them on here but no idea where they came from originally . Affixed with 3m Uhb tape
  5. Yup, for a quick wash, 4 hours is fine. I've done 48 hours before, split over three days - but that was full correction on my Racing Puma. The zed hasn't had the benefit yet :S
  6. It is a classic product and makes the interior smell like bubblegum Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  7. Used to use it all the time a few years ago when you'd layer ex-p a few times, then top with a Wax. Usually poor boys blue or red. Not bad but compared to more modern stuff it isn't up to par and more effort Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  8. Ha, cheers ilogikal1. Price per ml is Defo better then Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  9. See, I know the ceramic, nano and Si02 coatings last longer on wheels BUT you could have 4 or 5 tins of FK for the same price.....
  10. Still got the Ghost Rider going strong on the zed AND my karting visor too - cleared off in this am's race a treat and I maxed out at 40 mph so we're talking low speed here
  11. Damn good shampoo I must say too... Defo an Xmas gift for my petrolheaded friends
  12. Damn good point. Worth the 20 quid for that reason too Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  13. Try fk1000p.... Massive tin, easier to use than jet seal and similar product tbh
  14. I average 18mpg - never had over 30 for more than a minute or so
  15. As the wife doesn't come on here, I'm free to admit I've just spent £45 on the Xmas Waxybox.... Oh lordy!
  16. Please note guys that Waxybox, from next year, will be going to 6 per year (every other month) to ensure that people get a chance to use their samples etc. Was posted on facebook
  17. Good to know. They could do with a refurb but no point making them worse, the lip is currently the better part of the wheels. Yup most people forget to dilute it. I've moved away from traditional wheel cleaners and moved onto iron x type products and shampoo. Best product I've ever used is sonax total effect wheel cleaner but not sure if ok for polished rims Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk The Sonax is PH neutral and safe on all types of rims, including polished. Buy some of this then - is brilliant!
  18. ...nothing stopping us investigating a group buy including the forum logo (with permission) The shampoo is very good and £10 a bottle = good value
  19. ....cos I'm too cool for school.... Liquid gold in colour (with shimmer) but maybe a bit like a 'sample' for the doctors. But great shampoo and smells like coconut
  20. I'd recommend dilute APC to clean interiors... If you want to 'dress' it then go for Poorboys natural look

  22. Bilberry , if diluted properly, should be fine mate. Is an alkaline apc essentially
