1. Yeah I am quite tempted to stock up on a few of these! Anyone know the best site to get them over there? Nice work around! If I can get in touch with a supplier then I'll definitely look into it! I wonder how much weight and space 10 or 20 GTR buttons would add up to mind?? Amazon.com, ebay.com , Google.com Take your pick!! Clear lens for the 370 interior light are also from the GTR $27 a set. to go with the start buttons.
2. Open photo on Flickr See arrow on bottom rh side Click on it Select bcc code Copt script in box and paste in post. Delete second half of the pasted code after this bit .......... f34_c.jpg[/img] Which starts [url=https:..... This means you only post the picture and not the link to your photostream. Have fun!! Thanks go to BBK for showing me this the first time I tried to do it!!!
3. I did the drawing. Think they were 1.5mm Powdercoated black.
4. Wheel has to come off I think. Screwed on from the back.
5. Just try changing the front over- the pcb and buttons with the front plastic. I was told this (The pcb) is where the code is held when I was changing the leds in mine and putting new plastic on the front due to scratching. Should be easier than changing out the cd bit just a few plastic tabs to spring.
6. mine is here http://www.350z-uk.c...led-conversion/ More pics here http://www.350z-uk.c...ose-led-change/
7. Kits are now back in stock for 2015. Same price as first post £42.50 + £4.50 P&P First Class Signed For.
8. Spotted this! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350z-vertical-tonnau-cover-boot-devider-KE964-CD000-/161544632680?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item259ccf7968
9. I Have pm me! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350Z-airbox-16500-CF100-/161544615913?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item259ccf37e9 Up on ebay as a 2005 airbox with K&N filter but for a member ill put a conversion kit in it (for a small extra fee.)
10. Maybe they only quoted for front speakers and a head unit? Might not of even known there were rear speakers in it!
11. No Issues at all. ( I take it you dont have a spare wheel like me- Some do however!) If you want a flat floor like mine though you will have to remove the bracket which the subwoofer or spare mounts to, by drilling out the spot welds. Dont go too deep though, no need to go through the boot floor skin. Just a bit of touch up paint to cover the bare metal under it. Relocate the alarm sounder to one side, (plenty of cable) and tuck a few cables out the way, then you have a flat floor to go at. I have doubled the boot space at least for £30 and an afternoons work. I was quoted about £300 to do it by a re-trimming company but thought that was over the top (they said it would take them 2 days.)
12. If you just want it out then it just unplugs. Rest of the system works fine. I am now in the middle of installing another sub though. An under seat one which I will put next to the bose amp. Have had it wired to low level and high level inputs but cant make my mind up which is best. The high level is too quiet as i think its expecting a 4ohm input not 2ohm but the low level is rattling everything in the car!
13. What make is the oil cooler itself?
14. I have had one on test for 6 months and have had the same issues. Graining, colour problems and interference. Tried different aerial positions. power source. and earths etc etc Still get interference occasionally no matter what.. Going to hard wire it and get rid of the wireless side when the weather gets better and see if its the camera or not.
15. I had one of these from Husky Much better than a stick on. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/28665-under-strut-bar-led-boot-lighting/
16. One on ebay at the mo http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350Z-Genuine-SAT-NAV-Screen-DVD-Map-CD-Original-DP7W-3023Z-EU-Z153-/181530958926?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a44169c4e
17. These are the 350z dance's Not sure if they are the same on 370z though. 350Z ECU Resetting Procedures Please read all instructions and be familiar with them before any attempts. A stop watch or an analog clock with a second’s needle will be useful. ECU Resetting Procedures Timing is extremely critical. If it is NOT DONE within the specify time, the ECU will not reset and the Check Engine Light (CEL) will continue to remain ON. A stop watch or an analog clock with a second’s needle will be useful. Operations Procedures 1. Confirm that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch “ON†and wait 3 seconds. 2. Repeat the following steps (2a and 2b) procedures quickly five times within 5 seconds. 2a. Fully depress the accelerator pedal (HARD). 2b. Fully release the accelerator pedal. 3. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 10 seconds until the CEL starts blinking. 4. Fully release the accelerator pedal (while the CEL is still blinking) 5. Wait about 10 second. 6. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for more than 10 seconds. 7. Fully release the accelerator pedal (The CEL light will continue to blink). 8. Turn ignition switch to “OFF†position and now you can start the car. The CEL light should be gone. If the CEL light continues to remain ON, repeat the above steps. Timing is EXTREMELY critical to resetting the ECU. Accelerator Pedal Release Position Learning Operation Procedure 1. Make sure that the accelerator pedal is fully released. 2. Turn ignition switch “ON†and wait at least 2 seconds. 3. Turn ignition switch “OFF†wait at least 10 seconds. 4. Turn ignition switch “ON†and wait at least 2 seconds. 5. Turn ignition switch “OFF†wait at least 10 seconds. Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning Operation Procedures 1. Make sure that accelerator pedal is fully released. 2. Turn ignition switch is “ONâ€. 3. Turn ignition switch is “OFF†wait at least 10 seconds. Make sure that the throttle valve moves during above 10 seconds by confirming the operating sound. Idle Air Volume Learning (Throttle Position Learning) It is better to count the time accurately with a clock. Operation Procedures 1. Perform “Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learningâ€. 2. Perform “Throttle Valve Closed Position Learningâ€. 3. Start engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature. 4. Turn ignition switch “OFF†and wait at least 10 seconds. 5. Conform that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch “ON†and wait 3 seconds. 6. Repeat the following (steps 7a, 7b) procedures quickly five times within 5 seconds. 7a. Fully depress the accelerator pedal (HARD) 7b. Fully release the accelerator pedal. 8. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 20 seconds until the Check Engine Light (CEL) stops blinking and turned ON. 9. Fully release the accelerator pedal within 3 seconds after the CEL is ON. 10. Start engine and let it idle. 11. Wait 20 seconds. 12. Rev up the engine two or three times and make sure the idle speed and ignition timing are within the specifications.
18. If there are no codes stored then resetting the ecu would be worth a try.
19. Pedal dance is a way of getting obd codes without a reader, dashboard flashes the codes out to you after a series of inputs using pedals ignition key etc..
20. Can you check the spark at each cylinder? Could be a repeat.
21. Not the battery as its turning over fine. Jump starting wont do anything if its turning over as quickly as it is. Fuel or ignition timing would be my guess Just noticed your charged so maybe an air leak on the intercooler side. I would leave the battery on - dont disconnect and reset the ecu as you need the error codes to find out whats wrong. Get an OBD code reader or do the pedal dance and post the error codes up so we can see what they are.
