  1. Think the software is shot I passed the mot by fixing a small exhaust leak which was throwing the mot sniffer off.
  2. Ok I passed the emissions test today with these cats on. My earlier problem was due to a small exhaust leak sucking in air and throwing off the mot sensors. Fixed this and flew through the mot. Just on the right side of the mark. pass mark 0.2% CO tested at 0.19%
  3. I decided to have neither for the time being.
  4. I have tried another android pc but again had stability issues. I am busy at the moment trying to get to the bottom of my emission problems and running rich on one bank.. Ill pick this up again once that is sorted.
  5. Its the pre cat sensor which throws the occasional error.
  6. its not the cats. car is running rich - long term fuel trim is -10% on one bank cleaning the maf's tomorrrow to see if it helps otherwise having the lambda sensors changed on Monday and a re test
  7. All 4 sensors delivered today from Adrian. Sale or return on what I need to get the emissions right. Cant do better than that What a legend
  8. All my mods are declared inc the sports cats and the coilovers in my study
  9. Still using mine but have issues at the mo passing the MOT. Think its due to a wonky sensor though. Ill report back once i have changed it

  12. Same price an an exhaust but you cant see and exhaust all the time your driving it.

  14. They are Std nissan sensors which are wideband before the cat. Software is just the pro version of OBD Car Doctor which allows recording of the data They should be oscillating around the 0.45v mark crossing and uncrossing as they are when in closed loop. Its just they should be doing it together Graph 1 Bank 2, Sensor 2V Min value 0,01 V Max value 0,93 V Average value0,44 V Bank 1, Sensor 2V Min value 0 V Max value 0,93 V Average value0,66 V Graph 2 Bank 2, Sensor 2V Min value 0,01 V Max value 0,92 V Average value 0,19 V Bank 1, Sensor 2V Min value 0 V Max value 0,92 V Average value 0,4 V Minimum and maximum values are fine just not at the right times ?
  15. Got me some new software it looks great but is causing me some confusion. Can anyone explain what's happening here. Totally out of my depth. To me it looks like the 2 sensors are wired the opposite way round. When bank 2 is oscillating ( in closed loop?) bank 1 is high. Then when bank 2 is low ( in open loop?), bank 1 is oscillating.

  18. Position 1 above the CAT in the exhaust manifold required urgently. Looks like I have a dead one.

  20. If the mot lambda is high, sensor is reading lean which could be accounted for by the air leak into the exhaust. The nissan lambda is dead sothe ecu runs rich giving high co even though there is too much air in the exhaust giving the false lean is this possible?
