Aww nooo no no lol Its a great lookin' little thing and I say little by the looks of it, its a compact little bugger. Only thing I'd swap is the middle pipes..you can get 2 either side, which would look better. Still convertible though...bleh...I wouldn't say no put it that way Wonder what its like inside, seen pictures looks good. When I bought my Zed from Lotus they had a few fancy cars in (612, Evoras, Bentley GTs etc).. but they had a big Jag...and I sat in it and was bitterly dissapointed and how much it does not look worth the £!

Convertibles/Roadsters...there crap no matter how I look at them, especially if most your models have came as automatics or flappy paddly nonsense But look at the new F-Type someones lucky enough to have already... and you can get them in good ol' manuals! I noticed the other day I had 30miles left apparently but no fuel light came on... hmm. Dunno because I wasn't driving fast enough for it to come on yet or what lol. I'll need to keep an eye on that.

I've gave mine the odd wash during bad weather even if its gonna get dirty the next day, just to keep on top of the crap from the road. And also (this time!) keeping those wheels clean outside and IN...which I didn't on the coupe and it started to rot away lol

Welcome! Just don't take as long as I did Yeah as Wizard said you def' want a GT spec, could go import (but I wouldn't if I were you...especially at your age lol). A well looked after 276bhp pre 06' will do you well I'm guessin', especially in the tax and insurance side of things, there was a big jump for me between the 276, 296, 309 (strangly the 296 being the dearest ) but my current insurer Admiral done me proud so went for 313. Find a meet or take someone whos really knows what there doin when you find a car. I took a good mechanic friend with me and he did his bit and I filled the gaps he didn't know with knowledge from the forum Good luck!

Booo lol remember seeing one years ago going down the 60 near Strathclyde park, sooo nice lookin' was tidy too, no massive bumpers etc, good kit that suited. Never seen an R34 out though, they don't seem to be as 'loved' for some reason as the R33's.

Not so sure on the roadster front as I'm not a fan of them, no doubt a coupe will be the better drive... but take it from someone who spent a HELL OF A LOT OF TIME here til' I could afford and find the one I wanted (ended up going over my original 'budget' lol), go for a 313. You've got the best of the last line of 350's and from recent parking next to an older 276.... the minor changes in lights bumper etc...DO make the difference and I'm glad I made the jump to one. It still and will look good and modern whereas the older ones are starting to show their age with the lights etc (admittidly you need to be into cars to notice this and if your buying a Z I assume you are!). Power wise, dunno, only driven a few couldn't tell too much of a difference unless back to back, but c'mon ...you can say you've got 309bhp.....(YEAH IM A NUMBERS KINDA GUY...N' WHAT!... ). Whatever you go for you will like it no matter what, they just got character!

Mmmmm I do like an R33.... keep that backside clean, one of the best rears I think with those double red lights.....especially in white... not that I'm hinting lol

Looks pretty good to me! I'll go test it on the neighbours wall... For a second I thought the white bits under the dash were some sort of knee air bag thing, but rewound it, paused, they were already there lol. Crazy how it can just rip open the dash like that and then BANG...IN YO' FACE!

There is a lot of different opinions on here from people who drive the car a lot to mostly a 2nd car ...so heres my 2 bob lol... I drive it as a daily car and I mean DAILY (think 18K+ a year) and although only had it a few months, I've got Falken 452's on mine and they do the job just fine! Even in torrential rain, as long as your not stupid, solid as a rock. Winter wise, well, not so sure... during a bit of icy/snowy road the brief few days we got it, the Zed got up a minor hill no bother, next day same conditions..wasn't having it ... lol. When they need to be replaced I think I'm right in saying 452s are hard to find now? So will end up looking for their replacement and see how good they are... TBH you won't know really til' you buy tyres yourself...then you'll go... they were good or...they were crap i'm not getting them again... lol

Mechanically friends people that do mechanicy stuff. I have no idea, but apparently their fine. lol (can you tell I know nothing about mechanical stuff?... lol). Still lovin' the bluey hugh off them when they start up, like their powering up or something lol. Question!.... When you flick your headlights on theirs a mechanical sound, I heard with the bi-xenons it just changes the direction of the beam or something?? What s the noise, a bit of plastic moving out the way of the lens or something?

Nope checked, fine lol. Just people seeing them at the wrong angle or the wrong time (like on a hill or something)... I still get blasted in the eye everytime a RangeRover comes near me lol. I remember last year someone was driving down the M8 with their indicators on, so when I went by I pointed down and before I could let him know it was his indicators with some sort of gesture, he slammed the brakes on and swerved to the hard shoulder pml! Ooops...

No not as exciting as you first thought.. no scantily clad things in this thread I'm afraid How many times do people flash you for your Bi-Xenons... lol. First I thought the level or something was up but no, everythings fine n' dandy, just that there Xenons. Loads of people have flashed me at night, I even had a bus driver shake his head at me for having my 'headlights' on... ...to which I flashed my HEADLIGHTS! at him. He then looked a bit sheepish from what i could see when he passed lol. Had people flash me going round a corner and blinding me too...which is not ideal..

God knows how many more 'shapes' they can pull from the Mini brand before it dies away. Surely you can only make Mini's from the brand Mini...

I bought mine then only realised after driving all the way up from Newcastle one of my cup holder pads was missing ... how gutted is my passengers next tasty beveridge going to be! Nope....that would be a nice touch tho! Just got those red light things on the doors... infact I don't recall them ever lighting up... hmm..

I must admit I'm not a fan of ...drifting, burnouts or...generally wrecking my car lol But I like the sound of a drag strip and aswell as the odd banger and the usuals you get some series stuff up there at times Ferraris, GTRs etc.. So I fancy a bit of that action in the spring/summer. Will give me an idea of just how quick it can go against others safely. One of my friends went up in his Celica and said its brilliant, good laugh and even if you loose some races says the excitments the main thing, just wanna do it again and again lol He also didn't remove the white number painted on the side window for a while.... bit neddish that I thought I'll try and get some decent cars to do it with though so its a bit more meaningful and I will post times/pics on here. But wee while yet, theres nothing up on the schedule due to it being winter lol Any Scottish people on here been up? (or non-scottish lol) apparently a Zed does 1/4 in 14secs but I've seen posts of standards with just over 13?? Thats not bad!

Ooof! Nasty, glad you were ok and got everything sorted! It can be a sneaky bugger, even if your not actually acclerating that hard, on a greasy/wet road if you nudge it open in 2nd it can slide surprisingly easy lol But its usually a nice slow slide instead of snapping... Another new item I've noticed (since never had a car with TC/ESP) went to go into the other lane on the motorway, 2nd gear, put the foot down a bit, greasy road...... ideally I'd like to accelerate so Im not a nuisance to people coming up behind me... but no... TC comes down like a tonne of bricks and cuts power. It was like someone hit the brake, which made me panic watching headlamps coming up behind Treading carefully all the way....lol Zed looks good btw, love the wheels!
