  1. Seen it yesterday while passing on the main road around 3pm I think it was. Just seen it in the back of the car park.
  2. Swings and roundabouts... I ...and being honest here almost certainly would have died when I was 18. Mate passed his test thought he'd take me and another out in his mums new Saxo VTR/VTS (can't mind which one), I was in the passenger, he left the road at a hell of a speed and rolled down a ditch, my side barely missing the big metal barrier and an oncoming car. I survived as I wore a seat belt. On the other hand... two other friends crashed a Vauxhall corsa and the way it crumpled he survived by not wearing one as his body 'crumpled' into the foot well. He would not be here had he worn a seatbelt. His was unlucky, in my crash my friend was simply driving like a knob. We did tell him to slow down but it was a bit late in coming...
  3. Yes you did ask for space but the dealer should still be keeping a 'keen eye' so to speak on you. As someone who deals with how people respond/treat people in customer service situations he should be paying attention even if giving you space... a half a**ed response when your asking a question is small detail at times but can make the difference in confidence. Plenty out there mate!
  4. Not polish as such, just a quick topper, like Demon shine, lasts about a week if weathers decent. Put it on with a microfiber, but again... even those will drag bits across your car just as much as a sponge, you should be giving a 'pre-clean' before it to get rid of crap and making sure the sponge hasn't anything on it, will do it just fine and if you do shove something cheap/quick like demon shine on it unless you go get a lamp in a dark place and zoom in you'll be hard pressed to see any swirls etc. If it doesn't look like a heap I'm not bothered, it is a car after all and will get marks straight after you detail it lol.
  5. Well yeah it could be more 'shiny' but again if it looks the part why bother with more detail... lol its to be nice tomorrow.. the sponge..will be out haha
  6. Mines is never 'dull' and I've sponged it since I got it (over 2 n' a half years ago) and once in a blue moon put any form of polish on it
  7. Stupid tapatalk posting twice...sorry folks lol
  8. The horror! A sponge! Noooo... where as in reality unless you do a lot of show n' shine meets or have a million pound car those swirls and light marks are noticed by ...absolutely no one walking by, driving by or even walking up to the car to look at it. Yes I use my own and check there's nothing on it each time but its a car... it gets smacked with road debris daily, so wash it good, use a nice polish as a finisher and don't worry as your paint cannot stay new forever even if you use the cleaning stuff.. it will mark somewhere at some point lol I clean my wheels using Autoglym clean wheels to get the detail done, inside the dish, corners etc, take it to the jet wash (with my own sponge and not using the brush!) soap it up, sponge and rinse myself... put a polish on if you feel like having a sore arm .... lol I don't let my car look that bad.....
  9. If only it wasn't gonna rain all next week...
  10. Dreadful mate, hope that ANPR shot means its still close by! Its a warning to people, keep your keys...house or car.. in the same room you sleep in! Hope you get it back unharmed mate!
  11. What do you mean hesitation, is it like a slight jerk? Do you have an HR or DE. HR's seem to jerk from time to time.
  12. Having had most of them done and one being done this Wednesday, its either the 'straight' arms bushes, the banana arm ball joints or... a rarer one..the top mounts. Why do Nissan make such crap suspension parts lol
  13. I came out of Tesco 20 mins ago and used a napkin to wipe off a single @*!# that had just appeared cos' it was annoying me lol... god knows what cleaning that would be like... be its all dried in too... mmm mmmm
  14. When I bought my Z there was a Ferrari 612 for sale too and it had the film. It looked terrible, it seemed the older it got the worse it gets, fraying and peeling at edges and Ekona's right you can see it. Not sure on protection though, it must do something for all but the big stones hitting the car?
  15. I've always fancied a 432bhp HR Load of rubbish, if you want near that figure speak to Steve (chubbyNinja) he'll tell you how to get there... I'm sure a remap wasn't on the cards though haha
  16. This 'THING'.... http://resources.carsguide.com.au/styles/cg_hero_large/s3/dp/images/uploads/2014-mercedes-gla-200-cdi-w.jpg
  17. Someone mention Kia ...that sporty hatch they make in white looks great lol. I'd have one of those...even if there not really fast lol
  18. Aw Neil no, A classes are terrible lookin lol. I dunno it seems to be the big companies BMW, Merc that can't seem to make a good looking hatchback lol all the lower end stuff generally is ok lookin. Just not for me im afraid. I'd rather have ...pains me to say it... an Astra 3 door than an A class... I'm not even really a fan of the Astra (too big for what it is). Speaking of Mercs, I seen for the first time this new crossover 4x4 slanted roof looking thing yesterday and it looked vile. (rival for the x6?)

    350z vs 370z

They've both got good looks but it depends on your idea of what a sports car should look like I think. I agree with Ekona and his comments. For me its the 350 (HR), the older models are touching aged with the lights and minor bumper tweeks and if they have those curvy rays.... a sports car (to me anyway) should have some sort of length to it, be wide...or wide in appearance and be low (i dont mean modified slammed low though..thats just vile lol). The 350 has a bit of a tail at the back which the 370 doesn't so it makes (the 350) look less 'stumpy'. Stumpy heads towards that mini-hair dresser look that a TT has. The 370 has a bit of that but its wide appearance looks great front or back (especially having recently seen G-Mans Nismo infront of me ). Even simple touches like the gold calipers on the 350 as there not flat its a flecked kinda metallic in colour and when clean look great against the sharp rays. I agree the rear of the 350 is a bit iffy but still looks good from the back, low squat stance that it has, just not as much as the 370. Interior wise better quality 370, but design wise, with its cascading dash the 350Z with the metal bits looks better in shape, with the wrap-around doors meeting the dash etc. The best by far though is the new style 370Z Nismo, spot on with that.
