Just tried and due to the pixel size the shape of the image it turns out...crap lol
-
haha... then how do I get some form of forum link address to paste into the signature thing?? llol Or does it just accept a copy/pasted image?
-
All the ones I find either don't let you upload your own picture, want you to set up accounts...or in the case of the one I use just now....does not allow you to move the picture up and down etc to show the bit you want, I got lucky with my current one. I need one that lets me use my own pic can adjust size, lets me move the pic about free... obviously HELP lol

06 rev up. What happened to the oil burning problem?
AMT replied to jjdugen's topic in 350Z Technical
I think the bonnet bulge looks better... but I would say that, cos' I've got one . Hopefully your cars fine mate, Dan's right I've heard the issues too and it did put me off a bit from them but tbh I've not seen/heard many cases at all Just keep it regularly checked... always better to be safe than sorry! -
ooof!!! That's a beast of a quote, yeah as people said occupation, points, any accidents, claims in the last few years, they can all push it up. I've just been quoted (and accepted haha) £489.50 for mine this year...5years NCB, no incidents (as there all past the time limits insurances ask for) ...mind you I am 29 lol Keep trying, you'll find something. Some insures still won't insure me due to the exhaust and rear tints... ridiculous haha

Yep, seen plenty of these middle eastern ones with bodies flying everywhere... its like they have no concept of death. Then after a crash they all run and drive towards it at high speed almost crashing into each other and people on foot, I mean where is the brains? We can moan at times about our roads and all the traffic issues but in reality our roads are ...not that bad lol

http://www.carbuzz.com/news/2015/10/27/Anarchy-Has-Clearly-Returned-To-The-Streets-Of-London-7730012/ Have you ever seen a bigger 'tool' in your life. Hopefully his reg leads to some 'following up'...

Ok yes there are worse looking things but stick with it... I'm a hater for the moment

Not a particularly interesting video but seen it on the carbuzz thing I look at. Not a Ferrari man by any means but the 458 (unsurprisingly) sounds a mile better, the 488 actually sounds as if it has a problem at times http://www.carbuzz.com/news/2015/10/23/A-Ferrari-458-And-488-GTB-Rev-Battle-Is-Worth-Losing-Your-Eardrums-Over-7729945/

Yes that... rather weird magazine mock up haha. I've seen its camo pics and its got the shape but hopefully its not fussy and bits all over the place. Also curious/worried on the noise, an Aston should roar. (I wish I was rich...). Do you know what, I'm NOT gonna say the cubes ugly...would I have one? Hell no, but its a kinda dinky designed thing for carrying stuff, I'm not gonna say ugly. Its hard ot make anything short of a sports car, sleek saloon 'pretty'. In my mind theres good looking and pretty. Good looking - 350Z (obviously haha), Astra VXR (shhh), Lexus Is new saloon, range rover sport. Pretty looking - DB9, XKR (newer ones), Gallardo, McLaren F1. Trinkets and bling can make a thing look good, pretty is usually with its main attribute being the style, profile, lack of fussy details. Sorry I forgot DB7. Despite its indicators being orange on older ones and the interior woeful, a neighbour has a relation who visits from time to time and they bring there burgundy coloured DB7 and just sitting there all simple sleek curvy shaped... it is pretty, old, dated, but pretty. Hopefully someone gets what I'm on about The two 'beasts' in the video are not even 'good looking'.

I'm gonna argue for the Juke even though I don't think highly of it at all, cars can have looks 'relevant' to their possible intended purpose. The juke looks like a little funky run around designed to be fun and you can kinda see that despite being a bit..all over the place. These two don't give over the feeling of fun or any other purpose than to lord it over.... again probably why their purchased. God I hate them and all others...that other Merc too the GLA? Its like a crossover but a giant sat on it making it flat looking. God Aston Martin... this DB11 better look good.
-
The older X6 was no better looking lol I know these terrible niche markets are selling but these high crossover things people keep buying...WHY?! I can think of one thing... to protect the kids (but I'd rather get a proper thing...like a range rover or something) ..otherwise I struggle to see why. It can't be to show off as I 'think' a lot of people who are into cars will just go...
-
My god, I know its subjective but I studied design many moons ago and I struggle... as an object.. to call either these two pleasing in anyway. I can't decide which is uglier, I think the Merc may pip it. Despite 'the person' having more money than I'll ever have if I met someone with one of these.. I couldn't hold my 'opinions' in if I tried. "why the hell did you waste so much money on that thing for?!" I cannot stand ugly looking vehicles lol. I do like MotorTrend vids EDIT - The guy even notes this in the vid, the Merc being terrible looking from every angle.. I agree

Standard Supra's are such a pretty thing!

We don't need negatives to start fights on this forum haha... we find a way anyhow!

Turns out its a bit dull, so save yourself haha

Building cars live with James May and some other folk, shame its a mini factory but I'll see how we go...
-
If you try people like direct line it doesn't give you option and then says in the 'assumptions's that the car is to be standard. Admiral have been fine, but just fancy seeing what a specialist can offer. Depends who you've tried

Good god my post looking for REVIEW OR HELP on those two insurers or other recommendations has went a bit... off topic haha. ALWAYS declare stuff, especially good heavens if its visibile, I'm sure they'd noticed my polished stainless steel if I ended roof side up in a ditch one day..."oh whats that...".. "why are your windows darker on the back??" haha. Yes I will be declaring my windows and exhaust, deary me, if you have mods and you are not, good luck to you... Anyway Adrian Flux (from the few words mentioned on topic) seem to be getting a good nod, I'll phone them first. Anyone know if they have 3rd party driving for other cars on their comp? It's been useful on my Admiral policy to help friends shift cars around for short distances. (you'd be surprised how many people I know think its standard on all comps....wrong lol). I know I could check by sifting through endless online writing but I thought it'd be good to get a feel from some members on here. Cheers for the help.

Really these days sports cars are there for the sound, feel and looks, pace is irrelevant now with diesels, hot hatches and even normal saloons battering down acceleration times.
-
...and I don't even have much! Tinted windows and an exhaust (cat back) and direct line, Allianz etc won't touch you unless your standard, not even options to add any changes on the quotes. So, while I wait for next Monday for my Admiral price to generate I thought I'd start seriously looking into specialists to see if they are any cheaper. Tried Sky and AdrianFlux and one said I had to call as its cheaper and never gave me a quote and the other I gave up after it started asking about my alarm system...like the specific make wtf? So gonna give them a call and try that. Any one got up to date reviews on them? Service, used them for an incident, what they offer as standard eg. legal cover, windscreen etc? Also any other good specialists to try besides them? Thanks!
