  1. Glad to hear you're enjoying it mate, I told you it was an epic exhaust. REALLY makes the car into a much nicer sporty environment to be in. Definitely should have come like this as standard, keep us updated on the rattles. I was told there shouldn't be any issues on standard cat but I guess everyone's car is different . Downshifts are frankly ludicrous with this exhaust, improvement is immense. I'm excited for you mate ! I'm sporting something a LOT quieter for the time being until next year!
  2. And it's gone! Looking forward to buyers' feedback on the system, I hate driving the car without it!
  3. I do indeed, send me a message (haha 'Daily driver' - good lad!)
  4. Take your time mate, it's not Christmas yet . Also "Manual Transmission on 370z is like using Abacus on rocket science" - I agree, should have put the GTR's DCT on the Zed. Would massively increase it's appeal!
  5. Can't believe this hasn't been snapped up yet!
  6. Shame you're not in a 370Z. My Akrapovic is for sale, sounds IMMENSE! Good luck in your search though .
  7. I can provide a hammer, angle grinder and some duct tape . It's a truly epic exhaust, if I were keeping the car this would be the last thing to go!
  8. Good to hear , really transforms the car into a sports car doesn't it? Far too quiet as standard!
  9. By engine light, I'm assuming you mean the EML (engine management light). It could do I'm afraid as when changing CATs you are causing the engine to run outside of specification, the light would ONLY come on if it went too far out of spec. Likelihood is that it won't bring up the EML as you'd need to change a lot more than just installing some high flow cats!
  10. Didn't know about that site, thanks Neil. Updated the original post!
  11. I'm actually selling my car due to the customer service you get from Nissan dealerships. It's horrible buying a sports car and just not getting the correct treatment. Took my car to a main dealership in London near the A1 (I won't name and shame but it's very near a TGIs). Took ages to service my car, tried to wash the car even though I told them not to wash it (plus they were going to wash it BEFORE my car was worked on!?). Received the car back with a kerb mark to one of the alloys that was clearly not there from hitting the kerb as there is no damage to the tires, I reckon they dropped it on the floor... Plus I'd asked for stickers to be supplied and replaced to which I was told yes sure thing. 5 weeks later not heard a thing even after chasing it up. Back on topic, I drove a demonstrator 370Z and the gearbox felt like someone had attempted to use it without using the clutch for it's life. I only bought mine after ensuring that mine didn't feel like that. I wonder if the gearboxes are a bit of a week point on these cars?

    Brake Upgrade

Is it possible to fit a set of GTR brakes to our cars? Would be good if we could fit something like the ceramic rotors (ignoring price!) from the GTR Spec V... Would be immense on track!
  13. ^^ Beat me to the link, and I've put a deposit down on a BMW i3. How long til I catch on fire?! Tabloid news article to be fair as it's an extremely unlikely event to happen. Imagine if the same happened to a fuel tank, would have been significantly more explosive...
  14. Thanks to CS, they installed a decat pipe to my 370Z whereas other garages either 'couldn't do it' or were a billion miles away. Top stuff!
  15. For sale I have my Akrapovic Evolution SS Exhaust System with the Carbon Fibre tips. Bought from a seller on here (http://www.350z-uk.c...n-ceramic-tips/), this exhaust sounds absolutely amazing. Turns the Zed into a true sports car, and awakens that latent V6 power. Selling as we're selling the car and returning it back to standard for something more fruity to take its' place. Looking for £800.00, collected. Or I can arrange a courier for roughly extra £30.00 to (nearly) anywhere in the UK - may be more or less. (EDIT - thanks Neil). There is a scuff mark on the driver's side carbon fibre tip that is pictured here (not visible when mounted on the car): EDIT - I'm located in Stamford, Lincolnshire. I can arrange to meet within 40 miles should the buyer require!
  16. I've just bought a brand new 370Z GT Edition for £26995, a £9k saving off list. Was originally looking for used but at that price I couldn't refuse!
  17. I'm not surprised by the EP3 at all, I own a DC5 (with ~275bhp) and it would show it's heels to my 370 over those kinds of roads. Only time it would struggle is VMAX and potentially off the line (so much power through the Front wheels is often counterproductive!). Great vid!
  18. 16 miles on the clock, wasn't really too happy that it had any miles at all on it to be honest being a non demo car. But never owned anything "brand new" before, was originally looking for used but got such a good deal couldn't turn it down.
  19. The best colour of course EDIT - This is with the wife on the policy who is 25, car is kept garaged during the day and night in a locked compound. Live in a very safe area as well (used to leave my laptop on the seat of my DC5 around town).
  20. Hard work and plenty of graft needed (not to say that you don't work hard or graft flexib!!). That's a damn good price Jay, especially at your age. I've got two SP30s, was happy to go ahead with Admiral since I'd been with them beforehand.
  21. Picking up my brand new 370Z next Saturday and called around all the usuals. Unfortunately being 23 it's been a nightmare trying to get insurance at a reasonable cost with most of the specialists flat out telling me they wouldn't be able to insure me. In the end Admiral turned out being the cheapest at £1100 (including my previous conviction history *cough*SP30's*cough*). Bit of a no-brainer!
  22. Thanks guys, car looks good in soo many different colours/combinations struggling to make my mind up! Will keep yuou all updated and thanks for the posts so far, keep them coming!
