yeah your right forgot that, not used it for ages lol. know what you mean about tapes, i still have a few metal ones as in the case not music. made by tdk i think. do they still sell tapes.

Thanks for the info husky, however it is easier to just buy the tape that has the ipod cable attached, insert it into the tape deck, plug it in the ipod or phone set a station on your radio once you pick up the ipod all done lol, i must say your detailed walk through is very good. Thanks for helping buddy, think i will put up with it for the time being,

Yeah I have the tape that plugs into the ipod, however I still would like the use of the normal stereo system. So I take it there was never a recall then, because surely if everyone had taken the car back for the same problem the supplier would have to react accordingly. So what is the actual fault with it then, not sealed correctly and allowing damp etc? Could look at it and see what I can do to resolve the problem myself if necessay although I wouldn't want to damage the dash trying to take it out lol.

Does anyone have the same problems with their Bose system? We bought our Z about a year ago and when the car is cold or its been damp outside the CD player always skips when playing either backups or originals. it seems to get better on hot days or when the car as been driven for a while. I have used a not abrasive cleaner but its still the same. Does anyone have any ideas? either that or I will fit something else in there, but I don't want to spoil the look of the car, because to me once you start changing everything then its no longer a Z if you get my meaning.

Hi Tarmac, we went to Derby yesterday and the Sony Centre are doing the Bravia for 899 same tv with trade. It does seem ok we were going to get one but just going to surf the net first before we commit. It comes with receiver and two pairs of rechargeable glasses

Me and Ronnie also thought the whole weekend was great, and must agree that there should be name badges because it was the first thing we said when we arrived at the Bar and not knowing who was in the club. Big thanks to all the mods for making it such an event, one thing we think should happen and that the mods should make themselves known and introduce themselves, especially to us newbies that arrived as we sometimes felt a little awkward, however after a few hours we started talking to others that turned up. We were very impressed by the dent removal guy, he did such a fantastic job with our Z and even spotted dents that we missed, he even said that someone must have had dents removed before because he noticed they had over forced them and he pushed them back in for us, now that is a dedicated man.... Big Thanks. Name badge for the car was a good idea and we still have ours on the windscreen, it also advertises the forum lol.... Hopefully found some new friends and look forward to seeing some of you again at the lakes.

Wrap them in what, Carbon Fibre? how do they look when done, because I don't want it to look tacky. When I get a new one I will respray the old one, and use when and if required. if we get anymore people wanting them Lee will sort them for us.

Don't know yet, will make our mind up after the lakes.

I would like a new Driver inner door handle fixture because it is scratched, and I spoke to R35 Lee at the Wales meet at the weekend and he informed me that this is a common fault because of the poor paint finish by Nissan which comes off too easily, Lee also said if he gets enough of us that want them he can sort it for a reasonable price, well count me in. Anyone else interested? Regards Mark
