  1. Carbon fibre B pillar covers

One fell off next to the car luckily, put it back on completely covering the cover and it came off again but this time on the dual carriage way never to be found....

Took four hours to pull the adhesive off the B pillar and now both my B pillars are no longer shiney and look dull and a bit sad...

No more carbon fibre for me

I put DI-NOC on mine and it was easy peasy, looks great, and has no chance in hell of coming off!

  2. Just go for the safe bet and get a PC. You won't regret it, full compatibility with the most popular software packages. And generally just a friendlier operating system.

Size shouldn't be a problem any more either. I don't understand why mac's still have customer's nowadays, but I guess there's always a consumer that just want's to appear different? Even the old argument of video editing and image editing isn't valid. The most powerful graphics programs have always been available for the PC as well, I dunno who started that old rumour.

I bought an Iphone and that mimick's the ideology of MAC, basically take something that already exists, re-style it, re-brand it, and add on several hundred pounds.

Im not a mac hater, just don't believe their better than PC's. I have used them hundreds of times over the past 15 year's as well.

  3. 3 currently, and may have another 3 in the post from last night. Mobile camera sat in a motorway lay-by. I took it off cruise control (70) for about 3 seconds to just get in in front of someone as I could see a guy whoring it up behind me, car in front changes lane and there I am 80mph looking straight at Mr Camera. Hopefully got away with it, but not so sure.

  4. Do you need the software to actually click a button within the software/webpage, or do you just need the software to do an action spacebar/cursor move to stop the computer being idle?

Not 100% sure. Spacebar might work. Either that or just click on it I think. I can try

I use a program at work to stop the screen saver, which also locks the computer (user privileges etc). It's a simple wee program called 'Stop Screen Saver' and it's free, if that's what your issue is.

Otherwise you can get Auto clicker which is free to try, but I'm sure you could keep it for longer if you wanted wink.

Here's a video of it, to see if it's what your after:

  5. I live in Preston and can just about see the Ribble Bikes shop from my flat, in fact I have just been to the chippy next door to it. Actually I think they have moved to a bigger unit to concentrate on internet sales, but the old shop has their stuff all over the outside still.

A lot of the guys round here that take cycling reasonably seriously have bought from them and I think they have a good reputation. I was speaking to a guy who does iron man in the pub on Sunday, and his bike was from them too and he seemed keen on it.

My place has a similar scheme. Maybe I should visit them given my chips and beer diet.

I've been contacting them all day about trying to get a good bike from them that's just above the £1000 limit, which I would pay my self, but their sales team are like a bunch of idiot's! They are sooo unhelpful :(

Go find alex the sales manager and slap him for me please?

  6. any one know the correct name?..... just out of interest :surrender:

Not that it will make any difference.... I will always call it the same thing :lol::lol:

I dunno mate, but I don't think it's got anything to do with buying a decent bike :p

    Thats very true

Back on the bike theme though, I have MTB, and I have recently been thinking of getting another set of wheels and tyres.... so if I want to brave the ride to work it will be a little smoother, then just swap back for proper riding

I tried the tiny thin road tyres on my bro's MTB for a quick ride and it made a world of difference to the speed and smoothness! Buggered if I come across a patch of mud tho!

  7. I would get it sprayed before wrapping as I have an OCD and I wouldnt be able to sleep at night knowing that they were a different colour underneath :lol:

That's the whole point of a wrap! I.e. the car is a different colour underneath...otherwise there would be no point in wrapping it, cos it's already the colour you want it to be. You had too much of that butterbeer mate? :p
