  1. Greetings fellow Channel Islander! Is your car in question a MY07 car? I recall seeing a black coupe for sale a little while ago in the JEP
  2. Thanks for the replies guys. Yea, well up for that chippy, mine sounds properly epic now with the UR HFC's on (Well when the Flexi isn't caput), should have it sorted by the weekend!
  3. No such places like that over here in Jersey.... One of the many reasons why Jersey takes the proverbial, however upon actually reading the description on my link above that part is not to be used for the flexi parts of the exhaust.... a little more searching reveals... http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Motorspor ... /1883/6050 Now, I'm gonna presume here that the 'inlet diameter' would be the bore of the exhaust... can anyone confirm if this presumption is correct?
  4. Hi Guys and Girls, I'm hoping someone can help me with a problem I've got... This is the situation.... Nismo zorst on the car, on Saturday fitted some Ultimate Racing HFC's, all was well and good for about 6 hours... then horrid rattle develops. Had the car up on a lift this evening.... problem: left hand side flexi element has broken... fan-f**king-tastic. Usefully Nismo don't have a warranty on the flexi pipe so there goes that avenue, recommended fix is to take off the Y Pipe, cut out the Flexi and weld in a new piece. Now this is where I need help, found some on Demon-Tweeks; http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Motorspor ... /1883/5140 However I don't know what measurement they take for the pipe, is it the bore of the exhaust, or the outer diameter!? Obvious answer would be to call them tomorrow, but want to get it ordered tonight. Can anyone help!?!? The poor thing currently sounds like a bag of nails, and that's just not right!

  6. Hey Wasso, you had any thoughts on accommodation yet? Got some mates on the island who might be interested but want to know costs, more info I can give them the better! Cheers
  7. All 4 days sounds good to me! As for the weekend track time, well the Sunday anyway, being at the track as soon as it opens gets you some clearish laps for the first couple hours, around lunchtime it does get pretty manic, so a fine time to break for lunch, mid afternoon it starts to quieten down again. But from what I've been told the best time to lap is during the week, so Thursday and Friday should be good, even if it's only open for a couple hours.

Yea, done the X1 challenge, only on Bronze though, gonna require a lot more practice to get Silver and Gold!
  9. Still no joy with the Berks search so I've made a snap decision and brought some Ultimate Racing Metallic HFC's from Adam@Z1.... couldn't find any clips of these combined with a Nismo, anyone on here running this setup?

I could say it's chocolate... but I can't help thinking that no-one would believe me....
  11. Yea, ideally I wanted to avoid importing due to the cost as they need to go to the UK and then come to Jersey but it looks like that might be my only option. Any suggestions on who to import from? I used Adam@Z1 for my Nismo zorst and he was excellent but on his site it doesn't appear that he stocks the Berk HFC's. MOT isn't an issue as we don't have those tests over here but although I want more noise I don't want huge levels as I have my Celica for that and I do enjoy the odd trip over to franceland which means some motorway miles. Ah well my search goes on!
  12. Well from what I've heard from youtube videos, which I know are to be taken lightly, but alas I have no other choice, full on decats give the exhaust note too much 'rasp' and I really like the sound given off by the Berks... but I can't seem to find them anywhere...
  13. Where did you manage to source yours from Dave?
  14. Seasons Greetings to you all! As the subject suggests I'm looking for a set of Hi Flow Cats, preferably BERKS as I need them to have anti-foulers and I'm led to believe the Berks ones have them as standard, however if anyone has an alternative please suggest. Money is burning a hole in my pocket and I'm in need of more NOISE! Thanks! Oz
  15. Ozwald25 GT5 online if you guys want a real challenge.... level 29 and rising (albeit slowly) However I must warn you... racing me will be a very humbling experience.... I don't lose....

Me too, only difference being that I'd break a cable the first time I plugged it in and I'd have to hack saw the tubing to repair the cable. Yup.... that's exactly why I used cable ties......

I've built my own gaming chair, followed these guys basic design. http://toolmonger.com/2006/06/15/how-to ... re-welder/ You need some basic welding skills but other than that it's easy! Best creation I've ever made!
  20. Nice! Looking forward to hearing it!
  21. +1 Just waiting for the ferry company to update their sailing times (currently only running till March 2011 ) then will get my name down on the list! Not sure if I'll be going down in the Zed though as my Celica may be back up and running and I NEED to get it back to the 'Ring! Also, might be worth posting up the trip plans on the northloop.co.uk forum, decent bunch of guys on there some of them with some serious track knowledge and usually up from giving passenger laps. No better way to be scared half to death!
