  1. Stu, would you be ok with sharing your setup for the Elise? I'm curious to see if your setup is significantly different from mine. What? Give away the secrets? Try emailing Adrian Newey for his plans for the new RBR F1 car! Will post up after work. I had asked Adrian for some pointers on the setup, got a rather rude response back about being quite busy... the cheek!

  3. I should hope so, I've not even tried the Zed challenges yet, there's time to be found with that sodding Elise yet!
  4. Silverstone 2:12.662 There's more time to be found but I just can't keep it all together, which is frustrating and makes my times even slower. The vicious cycle! haha!
  5. Having just realised that equipping NOS doesn't actually raise the cars PP I suppose the question should be asked.... are you guys using it?
  6. SuperStu's using a Controller and I'm using Driving Force GT Wheel and there's hardly anything in our times. I'm sure Stu is some kind of Robot though as I couldn't get anywhere near my times with a controller!
  7. Keep at it, I'm 12 seconds faster at Silverstone now than when this started. It's unbelievable how much a few tweaks here and there in the suspension makes. Shall we add another track to keep you guys who have too much time on your hands busy? P1 updated Are we including oil change etc on the 350Z tracks or completely stock? Will be interesting to see the times we get when tuning isn't a factor.
  8. I think I'm done with these three, there's nothing in there for me now except frustration and more fist shaped holes in my bathroom door. Silverstone has more, but the lap is so long there's too many places to lose it on the ragged edge with the time available being in sector 1. I'm dreading when we get round to Nurburgring in the Suzuki Wagon R There's some fine tuning to be done on Silverstone so probably got some time there, whether it's two seconds though, won't know till tomorrow! I find it a lot easier than Brands Hatch, I just can't get a rhythm on that track, drop one wheel off and that's the whole lap ruined. 'Ring I'd be happy with haha! Wagon R... maybe not so much!
  9. Tonight's Times; Silverstone: 2:13.250 Brands Hatch 1:31.628 Goodwood 0:49.495
  10. It's so annoying sitting here at work and seeing these times tumble knowing it's going to be hours before I can get back on GT!
  11. I'd certainly be up for something like that
  12. Nice times there Stu, think you mixed up mine and Longsh07's for Goodwood though! Will try and have a go at Silverstone this evening, see if I can better your time!
  13. Brands Hatch 1:32.619 and an irrational hatred of this infernal track! Goodwood 0:49.724
  14. 2 more tenths for me to find eh Stu? Challenge accepted
  15. Cheers Stu, took me ages to get a clean lap where everything came together. The Maggots - Becketts - Chapel section was the hardest to get right.
  16. Here we go, Brands Hatch 1:32.888 Silverstone 2:14.835 Goodwood 0:51.379 Lotus Elise 111R
  17. Switched to the 111R for Silverstone and Goodwood Silverstone 2:14.835 Goodwood 0:51.379 Driving Force GT Wheel is my weapon of choice
  18. Not sure about the other guys but I had driving line on for the first few laps to work on my entry points, all others off and ABS set to 1.
  19. Not quite, I used the 2011 Elise, starts with 388PP and I tuned it to 450PP, it's still got more weight and a bit less power than the 111R, but it's got the flat underfloor which really helps stability through high speed corners I find.
  20. Brands Hatch GP 1:33.568 Silverstone 2:18.788 Goodwood 0:51.717
