Thought I'd better go and try mine today as I haven't used her since last Monday! Cleared off all the snow, poured some warm but not to warm water down the door/window so it wouldn't stick...... Jumped in, turned the key and........ Hummmmm V6 Man I miss driving her, when is this freakin weather gonna clear up so I can go for a real drive!

My advice would be:- Rainbow or JL VR speakers for that budget will sound best (make sure you have budget for speaker cable and sound deadening - a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link... ) Head unit - not bad, would go Alpine if you can get the spec you want. The sound quality is streets ahead. Amp - Again, not bad but would go JL e Series or similar if possible. The way they deliver the power offers a lot more control over the speaker, and therefore better sound. Subs - Agree with the sentiment. JL 8's can drop low as well. Also conssider a single 10". A Focal one will also do quality to a high standard too. Thanks mate, i already have the subs, amp, cables and headunit from my last car so just needing the front speakers, i've ordered some sound deadening sheets with the speakers.
