There is a ribbon cable in the HU. This causes the problem of only playing through one speaker. Its a common problem. But it is intermittent. You can go round a bend and it plays up, go round another bend and it sorts itself out. Just buy a new HU. I did and its so much better.

i would consider Tarmacs Scorpion. its a good exhaust for the money IMO. alternatively, i have a backbox sitting in my garage that you could buy off me? fitting is fairly simple with a bit of spanner experience.

i had a red, 5 door, 1.2, vauxhall nova merit. was a class car, had it 4 years. only broke down once, due to a snapped clutch cable. 10 quid and 10min fix!!! no pictures tho

im 27, found the scorpion to be a good balance between loud when on the beans and quite when pootling round.

It is a very easy mod, the little white clips u turn 90 deg were a bloody pain. Make sure u don't cook the lense like I did. cover it in foil and keep it on a low heat. I was very silly.

i found sextons direct to be OK. the fascia they sent me was sport on and fitted really well. the colour mate was good too. i have and alpine unit in mine and think it is very good, the sound is very good however you will have to replace the Amp and possibly the sub to get them to work properly. as the new unit doesnt work the same as the Bose one did to power the amp. (so i have been told)

+1 if you have over 700 k to spend on a car then would u worry about VED i very much doubt it. i would want a V16 turbo/supercharged monster that would suck small children through the front grill for that kinda money.

TBH, i totally agree. but i really cant see them giving me an IP on a 12 month contract. the guy in the shop was shocked that i still had a 12 month. and exclaimed that i had a really good deal.

thing is, if i wait for the new IP5 i would have to change my contract to a 24month tariff. i have already spoken to them about an IP4. IMO i think that the IP is the best smart phone available at the mo but its way too expensive for what it is. my Desire comes a close second behind the IP. i think i might just wait for the new HTC sensation to arrive. it looks pretty good and the battery life is improved and so is the processor.

TBH i dont really like the nokia interface. the IOS or the android seem to be a much better. it does look like a good phone tho.

hi there people, i am just in line for my new contract phone. i have no idea what to get. i have a very good deal with line rental and the cost of a phone, i just have to decide what phone i want. i currently have a HTC desire on T-Mobile. i dont want to move operators just a new phone, i also cant have a Iphone 4 on my current 12month plan. the contenders are: SE play HTC desire S HTC desire HD HTC sensation (not yet released on T-mobile) is there any more handsets that people can think of that would be good for surfing/email/music ect. cheers in advance Sparky

you had the deal of your life when you had my one you aint kidding. thanks once again Bob. the front of the car now looks much better. i might try and heat up the old one and reshape it. there are no clips or fixing holes broken just that its a bit reshaping. then ask if anybody wants it. sort somebody else out as you did for me!!
