  1. Well, as it says in the title, tonight I was the unlucky recipient of a £60 penalty notice.. I was on my was from the other halfs house in Chorley back to camp in Melton Mowbray, which takes me onto the M6 (S) for a few miles, as i was passing a nice new black BMW 6 series, i was rather admiring the sleek lines on it and noticed two aerials at the back (one being the shark fin) the second antenna i noticed was the police radio.. i thought 'very nice for a cop car!' at this point, he looked over at me looking at him.. and pulled out to overtake a truck, i checked my speed (again) and thought, Im cool.. he aint got sheeeet on me he then followed me at 70ish for a mile or so and popped his blues on.. so i proceeded to pull over and stop on the hard shoulder.. he came over to the pass window and said ''i believe... yes, i can see you are not displaying your front number plate..'' (it was in the windscreen) i proceeded to explain that ive just fitted a new mesh onto the bumper and removed the number plate so as to fit it to a holder when i get back to camp (for the MOT) he said, i dont believe you as the sticker backs are dry so i will be issuing a fixed penalty notice.. £60 ah well
  2. i have alot of speed bumps in my area, both in Glasgow and down south, with the 350z as stock, it was fine on all of them but i do slow down regardless.. i now have a full bodykit and an exhaust that hangs lower than standard and its still fine (p.s. some of the speed bumps are absolute beasts and shouldn't be legal ) you should be absolutly fine.. (if you are still worried, take a Zed for a test drive and tell him you have to pop off home for paperwork )
  3. give Paisley Freight a phone, they are usually quite cheap.. http://www.paisleyfreight.com/
  4. the manual code reader method is easy enough, just make sure you have a stopwatch and use the video recorder on your nice new HTC so that you can re-watch a few times to check if youve read it right
  5. have a look, maybi give them a call and see if they remember the car.. http://www.mgt-racing.com/
  6. honestly, if i was in that area, i would be happy to good luck with the search
  7. the Forum is here to help with questions like yours buddy.. no faceplant smilie needed as you did say in the OP that it was for 20" and the original car instructions clearly would not tell you that.. the pressure will be diff for alot of people, id try a few that other people use and pick the best for your own..
  8. I apologise if this is a re-post... http://www.topgear.com/uk/nissan/370z/road-test/gt-driven
  9. sorry about the quality, the other half is a "if it rings and sends txts, its good enough for me"
  10. enjoy the Zed and the forum p.s. keep an eye on your wallet.. the traders have lots and lots of nice goodies
  11. as i am mainly a viewer rather than a poster most people wont know me from jack, but i have been viewing the forum (daily for the majority of time) for almost two years, and it is a very enjoyable forum to be a member of.. as everyone will have one, i thought for a change i would voice my opinion, 'throw in my two pence' as it may be.. my opinion is not on the actions of members, or the subsequent suspensions.. the opinion i am going to voice is on the aftermath as a whole... the way the Mods and Admin team trialled a new method of handling the aftermath of a ban should not be flamed as the wrong way, it was a different way, so that members could give CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM or praise on either the ban or the way it has been handled.. i do not have a problem with anyone on the forum, and would hope there isnt anyone my rare and random outbursts have annoyed.. as a rare occurrence, the ensuing blatant bitterness some members have towards others has really shocked me and the petty arguments that have then came to light is rather embarrassing.. again, sorry.. but had to get this off my chest
  12. as said above, my other half just sent me a pic of a yellow 350 with Black Alloys from the Reebok.. she sent it at 10am
  13. Spoke too soon, the guy was a proper DELBOY.. "ill swap you for a RX8 2006..blah blah blah" (he knew i wanted a 'family' type car and one that i dont remortgage for a month of getting home ) but still insisted, him - "how about a Mugen Civic typeR 2005?" me - "honestly mate, not what im looking for, drove one a week ago and hated it.." well, did he get the picture?? him - " i ave one of dem Astra Turbo Convertible tings" ma - "You mean the Astra Bertone Cabriolet? the 2.0l Turbo?... no thankyou, ive had one before.." he then got the hint and said thats a shame.. the only reason i entertained his phonecall was because he had made an offer of cash.. MORON anyway, this means... yep you guessed STILL FOR SALE
  14. Possible sale on the cards.. find out later.. its a sad feeling think the offer is 7k, but i might take it my 's
  15. BUMP for a price adjustment (after alot more market research )
  16. Hey guys and galls, well, my family of one (me) may permanently be growing to 3! (my GF and her 4yo son may be joining me down south and creating a real life family ) So with this revelation, i am inclined to put the Zed world on the side burner (for a few years at least and not including the Forum ) so, the car.. i bought her with 30,000 on the clock in Aug 2009, as i am in the forces and travel to either Glasgow or Chorley by motorway most weekends out of the 27k ive put on, quite easily 20k (probably more) has been cruise control at 77 +/- 10 (the -10 is when it was costing £120 return every weekend ) Particulars: UK Blade Silver GT, *note* this is a UK car, the rear number plate is only Jap Style.. 30/11/2004 NG54*** she's done almost 57,000miles Service history she will have 6months tax at the end of this month MOT is due so will be done soon P3 service done 2 months ago (Inc Denso Irridium Spark Plugs Plugs) Exedy clutch kit and Dualmass Flywheel (from ZmanAlex) Ferodo DS2500 brake pads all round not long ago heated seats (GC) black leather interior cruise control standard 18" alloys 350z floor mats fitted seat covers MODIFICATIONS: LED Rear Lights JWT Popcharger Stubby aerial Black Z burger badge on front deleted rear badges K1 Exhaust Nismo N1 style Spoiler Nismo N1 style Front Bumper with ZmanAlex powder coat grille Veilside style rear bumper with jap style number plate (JAP style, this is a UK car) (bodywork fitted and painted by the Speed Factory in Chorley owned by a member of the forum) black roof and pillars window tints Rear Wiper Delete now, there are a few needs for the car -the alloys got hit by the winter when i was away in Afghan so need a refurb.. -the passenger side headlight has a few scratches on it that are noticeable -the driver side front/front plastic arch liner was torn so needs replaced and the pass one needs fitted (brand new one and fitting kit comes with car) this is all reflected in the price altogether inc purchase 2 years ago, over 20k has been spent on the car (not inc tax, fuel, service and mot) PRICE : £6850 as i will be in the market for another car post Zed, (looking at 06+ Vectra CDTi SRi's 1.9, 2.2 or 3.0l with <80,000 miles) i will consider a PX and of course sensible offers are welcome this is me being honest as i would like anyone i was buying from to do the same.. there is no finance on the car, there is the previous vehicle check as she was on a private plate before i got her. if i have missed anything, feel free to ask.. questions welcome thanks for reading, my nervous breakdown thread Will
