  4. thats how i would look at it , if they are willing to hide something as large as the car isnt theirs what else isnt being revealed that wouldnt be noticed untill your home with the car you payed hard earned cash for...
  5. its the SA80 A2, but the magazine is the new plastic type that weighs 1/4 of the original.. also has the round indication clear part on the side (helps post contact.. ) Thanks everyone for the kind comments.. The 2nd part of the show is on, on the 20th and there should be more dog handlers on it And for anyone that missed the 1st part and has Sky, its on BBC 1 Scotland at 2245 tonight (or on I-Player )
  6. yeah, hes the same breed.. just a smaller we use larger ones for protection work aswel
  7. He's a Belgian Shepherd (Malinois) This is him and me on tour... in a compound on a chopper
  8. id that there a few people from glorious Scotland on.. for you lucky people its tomorrow at 2245.. and look at the lucky dog (me and Obelix still hold the most I.E.D. finds for dogs in that job)
  9. my job was a dog handler with these guys.. well worth a watch as this was my tour
  10. the house markets quite a bit different, you wouldnt sell for so cheap as the running costs etc could be covered by a rental income any you could move to whatever you needed.. with a 3.5 V6 that looses value every day, and costs money to run every day the sellers will continue to drop the price in order to be noticed on the market.. the housing market works similar, but as they are increasing in value again the seller will rarely drop by too much.. cars drop in value, and in the current climate where the buyers market has shrunk, the ones left can pick and choose...
  11. just a thought for you (when someone said to me ((a member )), i realised i hadn't even thought about them) the Volvo S40, with the D4 (2.4TD) or T5 (2.5 T) they come in Diff trim packages with the R-Design being top spec, but the LUX models and Sport models looking good. The post 2008 are the facelift models with a few good improvements to an already good car Worth a look Good luck with the search.
  12. Well, as it says in the title.. Iv'e been looking at Volvo S40's (2005-2008) and although i know what i want, im not sure on the pro's and con's of the different Engine and trim packages.. the reason im asking is to see if anyone has had any experience with the 3 types mentioned.. now, there's the obvious engine size difference, and power difference, but is it noticeable? there's diff trim packages, but apart from some slight differences, the sport looks very much like the R Design.. Any input would e appreciated. (even arguments against Diesel and pro petrol..) Cheers, Will.
  13. Your not the only one Sasha, I think my cars worth 10k of anyones cash, and thats standard.. with the cash and time thats went into it id say it was worth what i payed 2 years ago.. but as ive said a good few times before.. sadly its a buyers market and they will only pay what the current cars are being sold for.. which sadly at the moment is pathetically low.. Also, where as i only had one person interested for over 2 weeks, recently ive had another 3 people show interest (2 saying they want it..) so advice to anyone selling would be, if you have a good example, hold out for a buyer as quality is noticable on these cars and buyers love a well looked after good condition car..
  14. I always wondered if the previous owner was a member Hopefully she will have a new owner soon, a few people interested.. Shes in Middlesbrough just now @ Falcon Performance getting some warning lights sorted then she will probably be gone.. Going to be a sad day.. Are you back in a Zed?? Will
  15. he really doesn't like the fact they have came in and done nothing but come last.. they must be on a massive downer tbh, the amount it costs to run a F1 team without a return in positions..
  16. need your puppy trained? will work for labour and parts
  17. Hey guys, well, Ive now started the search for a big engine Diesel car as i have the family and dog and more often than not work requires that type of car.. so i was wondering if anyone has experience with the cars in the title?? AUTOTRADER LINK This is the type, poss the exact one ive looked at.. ANY comments will be appreciated Will
  18. dont quote me on this, but if i remember correctly there are members on here that can check the vehicle using the Reg, hopefully someone will say so, just incase its one of ours hes using, and poss get it reported on PH if its 'dodgy'
  19. ask him for the reg no. again, tell him its for a HPI check.. not just for personal amusement, but the chances are that they have someones reg no. and are going to use it in the scam..
  20. Honestly, Too cheap? Killing the market.. no disrespect guys but the markets dead, hence having to sell amazing engineering feats for prices like this.. you honestly think if people were willing to pay more, people would be selling for so little? GLWTS afterall as everyone says, its a buyers market...
  21. 20 mins left.. £8095 atm bargain!!! get bidding!!
  22. I will remember in future, if i have something to say (in the brackets it says 'story' not 'rant') i will hold my tongue rather than post so that the people who are unsure on the law can gauge the risk they may be running rather than like me be under the impression that in the windscreen was a minor thing, and a warning rather than a straight fine... complaining and whinging is not what the OP was about, it was just a recount of my experience in the Zed earlier that night, but thanks anyway
  23. bit of an odd pet hate i mean, mine is MLH's as i do alot of motorway.. and another is people missing the toilet pan each to their own i suppose
  24. meant to say, i still use the car so the mileage will go up slowly but surely.. i will update it when i update the thread just done an up and down Britain journey (twice) so the mileage is around 58,000miles..
  25. well i wont be taking it to court, (the army frowns upon us going to court.. days off and such ) so i guess i will just have to suck it up (cheers Sarnie ) really is just a bit of a bummer when saving for a new year romantic getaway ah well, she will need to go without a cocktail or two.. tax, mot, 2 tyres and a fine all at the end of this month winner
