Just a heads-up on my part-out which is taking place next Monday. Returning the car to stock so the following will be up for grabs next week: 1 - Brembos with Ferrodo DS-2500 pads 2 - Discs DBA46000S on front and DBA4000 on rear.. 3 - HEL brake lines. 4 -18" Rota Torque Drifts in gunmetal with Falken 452s on the front (1000 miles) and the rear (3000 miles) 5 - Eibach pro anti-roll bar (NeilP has first dibs) 6 - Motordyne plenum spacer 7 - Berks high flow cats 8 - D1 spec throttle controller 9 - Alpine W203Ri double-din with steering wheel control and ipod connection (I think Docwra wanted this but can't find PM) 10 - Honda stubby!! Sorry if this is not the right way to go about selling but thought this would be useful prior to posting piccies and prices. Can anyone tell me if I can "sell" my Abbey Up-Rev in any way? Didn't I read I could sell the licence and then Abbey will do the Up-Rev at a reduced cost to new owner?

No doubt I'll be buying a Z with my first or second pay cheque so all visitors welcome.

Just looked a the video. Ouch - feel for you. Very similar to an off I had last year at Keevil trying to take a long right-hander without lifting, 100mph approach, 75-80mph at the apex? I had done the corner 30 times already that day but this time pushed a little harder, and, well you know what happens next. Luckily all I landed up in was a field. The bit about you drifting (but not being aware at the time) is so true. Earlier in the day at Keevil a guy who had been chasing me in an M3 literally ran up to me laughing saying how sideways I was getting. I was hardly aware of this inside the car and I think you weren't either until the rears said "I give up" Hope it mends for not too much.

Thanks bud. Don't fly until 1st week of July so if I've still got the car, may do CC on June 29th............

Thanks for all the advice. I've accepted the offer so onward and upwards. If it all goes well, expect "bad driving in desert" videos pretty soon.

Thanks for the info: a) very useful flat is a serviced appt - monthly rent c) yep - the MD for the company said "drinking" will be my 2nd biggest expenditure........

Well, as a family we are £29,000 down on Range so I share your pain. I think it will be ok in 12 months when Texas is sold, Trinidad is in production, Colombia deal has been revealed and Puntland has some discovery success and also probably sold. I've accepted Georgia is a dud. However, the worry is Greece/Euro, Texas not getting a buyer at a decent price, Puntland wells not proving commercial. If this happens, and Trinidad doesn't meet expectations, I I'll have a lot of explaining to do.

If you could find somebody I can get in touch with via Linkedin or Facebook that would be great. Many thanks.

The apartment is serviced/cleaned - like a hotel. AFAIK the only extra cost on top of the rent (£1000 a month) is broadband if you want it.
-
I like that - expert in my field. The job is just as a an estate agent. THE MD says their lowest paid person in 2011 earned £70,000 tax free and the highest nearer £130,000. This month, he is just doing the pay run and one employee will be earning £40,000. The job is self-employed so no salary and you pay for your own flat, car and mobile - about £1500 per month out goings before food/drink etc. He has said that I should be expected to rinse £7-!0k before earning a penny. High risk but high reward.

Just been offered a job in Dubai. The money is but it seems all too good to be true. If anybody has lived/worked there and can give me any advice it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Evo X would be the best bet. £22k for 0-60 4.4 secs. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3936619.htm -
If you've got one for £5k, I'll have it.

Changing jobs and the new one will mean lots of miles so need something a little more practical. Thinking of this:
-
TBH that's roughly what I thought. Think I'll advertise as £6.5k with all the mods in place (they cost about £3k) and see if anybody wants as is or if no takers, part it and advertise as £5.5k

Has anybody got any information or has had any dealings with this company? They have offered me a job selling/designing kitchens but the offer seems too good to be true. Anybody worked for them or had work done by them? Thanks.

?? RRL reached 23.5p on March 9th 2011, they have never been higher, so I can't see how you have an average of 27p. Unless you're broker is charging you 20% commission. It's a very high risk sector, share and market but if you can afford to, averaging down would be a good idea. Mind you, why listen to me............................................... As a cautionary story, if I had sold on that day at 23.5p, I would have made £64,0000 as I held 400,000 at 7.5p at the time. Unfortunately I believed all the hype and inexperience told me to hold. I've traded hard in them since as they swing wildly and have "made" £30,000 on those trades. Currently, I'm £20,200 in the red as I hold 317,000 at 12.9p. So if I sold tomorrow I'd walk away from the RRL story with a profit of £9,800. Not bad, but it ain't £64,000 so I'm staying long. My target is 50p and a £150,000 pay-day but the self-control I'll need to not sell in to a rise is, I think, beyond me. Latest (credible) rumour is that there IS a significant find in Puntland but Horn (drill operators on behalf of RRL) refuse to release the full news until the end of May when the Horn directors have the prices for their share options set. They obviously want the share price as low as possible during May because the option price is determined on an average share price for the last 30 days. If they'd announced a 200 million barrel find last week, HRN would be trading at $4 and not $0.80. Good luck to all. I'm going for a lie down. It's tiring work, this share stuff. Tried L2 but I don't really trade enough to justify the £30 a month subscription. Use the "Trades" tab on http://www.advfn.com which gives a good indication of market strength for a share at that exact moment. I can't recommend enough how useful this site is. Check out http://www.nakedtrader.co.uk as he recommends it too.
