  12. Bought the jinxed eibach spacers off Danny350z today.Set too on fitment of them on one of the front wheels first. They are the system 6 version so i have knocked out the old studs and drawn in the new longer studs, no problem there.Went to push on the spacer over the 5 studs but on my disc between 2 of the studs is a bobbin of metal with a small bolt in it and this is stopping the spacer from going on.It is at a different pcd to the spare holes drilled in the eibachs. What purpose does this bobbin serve? is it a disc jacking off point? Can i grind it off so the eibach goes on? Do the rear discs have this same bobbin on them? Waiting in anticipation for the experts to reply. Thanks.

    WHEEL SPACERS

After just reading and looking at pictures of another members woes of fitting wheel spacers, from the rust marks they appear to be mild steel? are any of the wheel spacer manufacturers making non rusting alloy lightweight ones?
  19. Havnt fitted any of these for myself yet but looking at the pictures of your parts i would say that you have to knock out your existing studs and then tap in the ones supplied. When you knock out the old ones use a copper drift to protect the first thread in case you have to refit them.If you look at the studs supplied you can see a splined section at the head end, this is what bites into the metal of the disc to keep them located.Where abouts do you live? anyone nearby who can help?
