  1. Not good, I better hunt down a spare incase I smash mine on track. Was looking at a replica to stick on for the track to keep the genuine in good condition. But can't really afford now as there's alot more stuff I need to buy to get it ready.
  2. I do my best Neil, I do my best How are you and the EBC guy getting on I wonder what he was going to suggest, you spoke and I've heard nothing since
  3. camber arms, im sure he'll be able to sort out your every need, he also has a 350z race car
  4. Pm zmanalex, he has got some made for him at a very reasonable price. He was doing a group buy for the fronts.
  5. No worries ive edited post as I realise it's was unnecessary
  6. Sorry dude want trying to sound like an arse but its annoying when you post up an answer you know is correct then someone comes along behind you and says something totally different. I apologise for coming across like this. It's just the way I talk, I'm scottish It's been asked so many times that I hate posting up about it lmao Apologies mate
  7. Started about an hour ago here. Now have about 1ft of snow. It's blizzard like
  8. Lmao this place has been quiet recently lol Nah no need, I've posted massive posts on this subject before. I explained all about air psychrometry and the fundamentals of air conditioning.
  9. I disagree but i do agree that the recirc button should never be lit. Always on fresh air. The air con acts as a dehumidifier. It cools the air to remove moisture, is below it's dew point, then the air is reheated so it has less percentage saturation. I'm not going to get into a debate about it, a/c when on heat mode does not cool the windscreen, if a/c is on cooling will cool the windscreen. I could talk about it all day as it's my profession but I don't feel the need to.

    Squeaky brakes??

What car do you run? I don't understand why it would cause it to squeal? Alex I know mate
  11. Happy birthday dude!! All the best!
  12. Happy Birthday matey! Have a good-um. Hope mrs Paulie got you something special
  13. Value for money I think the ebc pads are first class for road and light track work. Now I'm getting a bit faster it's time to spend a little more. Ebc's have been very good to me and much better than the oem pads.
  14. Lmao what a legend!!!But dave that means ur also old enough to be my dad

    Squeaky brakes??

Sorry mate I'm not trying to be an arse but I'm just curious to what I should be using as copper grease has been a solution since my dads days in motoring lol. What should we be using?

    Squeaky brakes??

So what would you suggest we use? As anti squeal shims only limit squealing when combined with a grease. My ebc pads had instructions with them saying where to copper grease I'm sure?
  17. Don't go near Kwik fit they haven't got a clue. The amount of people that have had air con failure after Kwik fit a/c charge is massive
  18. if theres no gas in the system then theres probably moisture in the pipework, to be honest id take it to the pro's. im an a/c engineer and i wouldnt do my car myself as its a very expensive mistake if overcharged or you have moisture in the system. potentially a new air con compressor required. saying that ive had no issues with mines and when the time comes i probably will give it a bash, but there is auto a/c engineers out there that know what there doing and paid well for a reason
  19. yep it will happen in any car if re-circ is on, possible jammed on if it isnt on. mines always on outside air as i love the smell of the v-power waftin through my nostrils as i stop at junctions and lights... mmm decats best mod ive ever done
  20. front should clear almost instantly, rear takes a little longer.. possible that your air conditioning efficiency is poor and not working correctly
  21. ive not heard anyone say they were happy with turbo grooved discs on here. i use yellowstuff pads, they are ok, but coming off before track season for something more expensive and better quality.
  22. ive seen that car at alex's place!

    Squeaky brakes??

sorry but is it not standard practice to grease the rear of the pad? its pretty obvious not to get grease on the friction material
