  1. what was the post that brought it back?
  2. like chris said, not the point i was trying to make. by no means what so ever is the zed the ideal car for the job when it comes to snow. just more that its not impossible to use. FWD is far easier to use, but some morons can't even use that. the zed is my daily driver, so i have no choice. but its done me proud so far. mine hasnt
  3. hopefully he's aiming for martyrdom
  4. im now going to implement my new favourite smiley..
  5. ok i understand. although even with limited mental capacity, mac the moronic muffin man still goes past (although badly and slowly with barely any control) when im completely stuck. Zed snow driving 101, if you feel you are about to get stuck - at least make sure you block the road. Then they have to help you get moving ahhh, missed that class

  7. Glad someone else finds its not the worst car in the world, well not when its paired with a reasonable driver sorry but the laws of physics do apply in my car. Im perfecly capable of driving in snow, ffs if i can drive a nissan micra through 1 foot of FRESH snow for 20 miles, i can drive in 2 inches of the stuff. Yes there are times when you can plod along quite happily and tackle the odd slope with a run up. But you are seriously saying that if i got out my car and got in a matiz, micra, metro or mondeo i would fare worse... i think not. In the snow im happy to admit that the zed is s**t. Simple reasons. Wide/sport tyres, RWD, no weight over the back, incorrect gearing, sporty clutch. lets compare that to a vehicle thats good in the snow... Defender: Thin/chunky tread tyres, 4wd, plenty weight, low range, easy clutch. Hmmmmmmmm Don't get me wrong, i really love the car but i'm not ignorant of its limitations. In this weather i could be having a much more fun and easy time in my old micra.
  8. Thanks for the info Husky ... I will order the bulb when I'm on my lunch break ... BTW: Is there a switch to activate the light that I don't know about or is it controlled purely by the boot lid? boot lid only mate. i dont think youd fit inside to make it worth being on when its shut
  9. Has he contacted them? They seem to go right up to 275/40 R20 now, and use the same model code for wider wheels right down to 15". They seem to be fairly generic, mostly based on how wide the wheel is. IIRC the 370z GT wheel is a 275/X R19? Might just be able to get some to fit. I certainly hope so if its going to snow again next year EDIT: Husky, try emailing them, they seem to do a "high performance size" but its out of stock, goes up to wide 20" wheels now brilliant mate, cheers. the list i saw didn't have 275 on
  10. if it is, replace with an led one Do you know what type of bulb is needed for the boot light? I was thinking of ordering one now but can't get the existing one out of the car at the moment ... Hey, Its a 501 size bulb, your best bet is to find an LED bulb that has side mounted LED's like THIS the reason is that the bulb is mounted side on so a front mounted LED will look very dull.
  11. Hey people. The new, brighter/whiter, version of this will be on my car as soon as i don't have to crawl through snow to install it. I'll take some pictures to post up. I'll write up some information on what you'll get and offer them up for sale If anyone's interested please PM me
  12. yeah it was me, i was hovering over the order button until i found they dont do them for the size i have on my 19's i think they had the sizes for the stock rays though biggest they make if i recall. they do look really good
  13. oh you have no idea, cos i rushed building it i can just see all the mistakes perfectionist with building things
  14. DROOOL!!! (why is there no drooling smiley?) Love them
  15. the girls will always be better unless you put clothes back on the poor zed
  16. i thought it was going to be for you, i would have said rent yourself out.. but seeing its your missus this probably wouldnt be a good idea. no idea about the companies i always thought they looked dodgy. but then im wrong... ALOT.
  17. LOL that could be the problem Really DOH, Whe i have time i will use the Z, but if i was hunting for a MRS Z owner what if theirs was better than mine LOL Coops your stuffed cos that will always be the case coops Ouch Prob not far off how she stands, ripped to pieces had to drive her back in the garage with a pair of mole grips for a steering wheel, sat on a bucket with a lambo drivers door, no passenger door, no front wings, no front bumper no batt surrounds etc etc But you wait i will soon have the most carbon'd Z in the UK Mu ha ha ha haaaaa Coops low blow, sorry haha yeah thats what i meant you nutter
  18. Really?!?!?! I dont have a problem of getting a girlfriend with a 350z... I have a problem of getting rid of a girlfriend whilst I own the 350z who just dosnt seem to understand that I NEED to spend money on the Zed... If she can have 10 handbags and 30 pairs of shoes etc, why cant I have 2 different sets of wheels and 4 different gear knobs... A Zed needs different outfits too! So So true, my ex had a go at me for spending £700 on my exhaust for the Z... It was out of the joint account she pointed out, i dragged up a few months worth and showed her the ££££'s she had spent on shoes bags and clothes, not to mention £600 on one pair of bloody shoes! Its all for you, so i look nice for you she used to say . . . Coops oh thats rubbish, all women should know that men dont care about shoes at all. £50 max or its just a waste! however if they are willing to admit to them being a personal pleasure then we can have all the car goodies we want
