i think you will find the last conversation we actually had was; i phoned you directly after the warranty company ohne call above which is when you claimed to have a fax to prove you had been in contact with the warranty company all along, your words were; So i don't exist now do i!? im sure i have a fax somewhere from them i can dig out to prove it. As i have stated, this fax has still not materialised and the warranty companies legal records have yet to be proven wrong. i quote myself from above: at that time i believed the warranty company were lying to me as i had trusted cougar store throughout, you can now see that i was wrong and should have believed the warranty company from the outset. They informed me that the information being provided from cougar store since November was in disagreement with their records. this statement is false as stated by the warranty company records, their records clearly show that authority to remove the gearbox was given directly to cougar store over the phone. This authority was not passed from cougar store to myself leaving me unaware of the authority given, this turn of events lead the warranty company to refuse the claim based on neglect. you continue to bring this up; what did you believe was happening in that time? what actions were you taking to resolve the warranty claim? as the customer of your garage why was i having to do your work for you? I chased for 4 months about this previously, phoning every time, this is the first business i have dealt with that believes the customer should always have to phone and never the business. Considering the communication was left at the stage of i will find the fax it seemed sensible you would call me to disprove the warranty company. I will copy here other questions that have remained unanswered. I want answers to simple questions, i will ask them over and over until they are answered. i am not trying to confuse this for people trying to follow, whether it is pm'd in private or not i would request hat all pm's be agreed to be made public at the end so it will all be shown anyway.

i was phoning for 4 months every week Keith, when i eventually was asked to phone the warranty company they told me they have no record and that i'd been lied to, then i realised it was time to cut my losses. In the following 2 months they had every opportunity to phone or PM me but didn't, the reason the phonecalls stopped is because I stopped making them, none were ever made from him to me. the reason i stopped making the calls is that i went somewhere else to resolve the problems. I have asked for communication via PM not phone as i have been burned in the past by people making promises on the phone and then not upholding them, they are not interested in this and continue ask for a phone call. There are still lots of unanswered questions as the garage have put no actual explanation for any of this down for me, either privately or publicly.

if your thinking slander i didn't want to name him, he chose to name himself. your post just came across a bit weird, difficult to get the tone things are said on a forum.

something like this isn't worth trying to take to court as it would never get anywhere. and it wasn't becoming a public slagging match in any way, i was asking questions publicly and waiting for a response. I didn't ask the garage to name themselves in the first place. so why back it being locked as it stops the full story from coming to light and further helping inform the readers? seemed to have contradicted yourself somewhat there?

methinks you may like the callipers too maybe

sorry lee but apparently you can fit the kitchen sink aswel

simple questions need publicly answered such as: what happened in the "2 months" that prevented a phone call or any action from the garage? where is the mysterious fax that proves the garage did not lie for 4 months about phoning the warranty company? why were so many other customers put before the warranty claim if not for the reason of making quick cash over larger pieces of work? why did the garage say they had previous experience in dealing with warranty companies and then make an extremely fundamental mistake? why was communication always the responsibility of me and not the garage? just a sample, but if some response is to be concocted i hope it will include more than just excuses and "i didnt know". personally i didn't expect the garage to be outed and thought it would continue to be discussed in a general manner where people would have felt more free in their opinions as shown by the first few replies to the thread. I have since had more pm's and would like to again thank people for the support and sharing their own experiences, its really appreciated.

seems an adequate wife stowage solution. all above board with legal space requirements and comfort levels that are expected

im not looking to talk it over with him mart, he hasn't got anything to offer me, what he has done has directly cost me money. i would like others to be aware of the situation to save them the expense, time and stress of the same thing happening again, having a private conversation will not achieve this goal in any way. I cant think of one thing i want to discuss privately tbh. also anything on the phone cannot be easily quoted or proven as i have learned the hard way in the past, everything has to be in writing.
-
cheers for the info mart

guys i'd like to say a big thank you to all the people who have sent me text messages and PM's regarding the recent thread the support is appreciated and shows the great community side of this forum, i would have said it on the actual thread but cant. And i'd just like to note in public that a large number of people have now stated how ridiculous they think it is that the thread has been locked and how "this shows favouritism to particular a trader on the forum" (not my words). also sent to me: i could go on, personally i'd rather these people were able to have free speech on the forum and put it on the thread rather than having to PM me

next weekend i think i get a ride round but i think i'd be worried about putting it in a wall having a go myself i dont know exactly how much but apparently 10k more than he had i would love to see it against the SC zeds but i dont think its allowed on the wales run. i did ask him about a camping trip round scotland though

I completely disagree. Sorry to sound harsh but if i had not used CS and used Falcon from the beginning the warranty claim would have been resolved with minimal cost to myself in quick time. This is what the warranty company have told me, they state the official reason for the rejection of the claim to be neglect after they gave CS the go ahead to remove my gearbox, CS did not inform me he had this "go ahead" and didn't contact me since that time. This situation is CS's fault not the warranty company please make sure you understand that. I have PM'd CS back but really that serves no purpose. This is not a personal problem i have with CS, this is business i don't confuse the two. and as far as you were aware you were still in charge of my warranty claim for this 2 months and you didnt even try to contact me about it, especially since the warranty company had left you authority to remove the gearbox. i think that shows just how much interest you had in resolving this warranty claim, that after i finally gave up phoning you every time and cut my losses you slipped away into the background. playing the nicey nicey victim game will not cut it with me one bit. And i dont believe 100 posts about how utterly amazing the service is (requested by CS or not) can convince me against the negligence shown here. nd i dont think CS's reputation as a garage is worth the posts it has, yes the banter is good but i feel like i've been conned.

only wish it was me taking the picture, lets face it , it would be a better quality pic
-
nah hes the kind of guy that doesn't put much thought into it. its the normal: i fancy this car but for another 2k i can get this, but for a further 2k i can get this... until he has a noble he says hes always wanted a noble so i doubt hes looked at anything else just informed me hes off for a drive, what a b**tard
