  1. Ok so i sat with a tiny dremel bit an little bit at a time cut away at the stud head... it took a few hours and a few dremel discs... but i got rid of it then i decided as doogyrev had done a great job of polishing the tips i would finish them off. so this time i decided while i had the dremel out to put a tiny polishing bit on it and use megs metal polish then i got my flood light out and from about 10:30 to 11:15 fitted the backbox with a fresh new bolt. AND i decided not to jack the car up to do it have to say now ive done it enough times it wasnt too tough and really you dont need to jack it up to install one its on now and loks like this HAPPY DAYS!!!

  9. this one will make sarnie happy
  10. It does take a fair amount of time, some decent soldering ability, cost about 150 in components, possibility if you screw it up to cost lots for new dials etc. I do love it though.
  11. +1 on the weight distribution. I was contemplating putting a foam insert with a toolkit and tyre can in, should be a bit closer to the spares weight. is there any point if your keeping the same weight? at least make it useful like fitting nos bottles or amps or something other than a bad replacement for something that works better and weighs the same i was thinking audio stuff etc yes
  12. AS mentioned about the sunsets thought us blade zedders should have a wee place if your all game
  13. yes ditched it for two tyre cans tbh though the zed has good weight distribution so unless you are replacing it with something it will probably worsen handling
  14. cheers im quite chuffed with how it turned out sounds about right!
  15. These four points have allowed me to perfectly describe my job role! "MUST BE DEADLINE ORIENTED" You will be six months behind schedule on your first day. "JOIN OUR FAST-PACED TEAM" We have no time to train you. "SEEKING CANDIDATES WITH A WIDE VARIETY OF EXPERIENCE" You will need it to replace three people who just left. "REQUIRES TEAM LEADERSHIP SKILLS" You will be doing the boss's job but not for the same sallery.

  17. yes do it now next time your down bring it with you. it will have to be re wet and dried to remove the polish and clean it before it can be laquered. no worries thats just on there to protect it just now, im prob going to coat it in white grease and store it for now
