  1. hmm i think your going to either need the code that may be in with your handbook possibly for a new key to be cut. or the locks changed... which are coded... which you need nissan to do... which costs nissan style money. if you buy a key from nissan (fob and key) anyway it'll be over 100 probably.

  14. well i will see how they look in black and then make judgement, my thinking is that i can take them off when i clean the car before a meet. The wheels have absolutley no protection just now as the vred's dont even have much on them as you can see.

  17. fortunately the crunch was the sandstone giving way ordered the rim protectors in black, the car is going to look even more fat now its not in a bad place so im not stressing about it but would be nice to have some touch up paint
  18. 150 quid will last you a while the good stuff usually needs smaller amounts applied.
  19. one thing you can count on, nissan will give you a good giggle you could get them wrapped by a vinyl wrapping company in carbon dinoc for pennies in comparison.
  20. worth a shot :P from what ive heard the zed is pretty cack on its protection underneath. not designed for our roads, salt etc. hence the exhaust on every car dying a death in the same place
  21. how much to do mine?
  22. sorry to hear this. such a shame the right thing isnt being done and we all know it.
  23. forgive my noobishness, will that not scrub any paint off the underside of the car
  24. hmm steam + electrics probably wont go well together no. If you did take it to nissan they would plug it in to diagnostics (cost prob £90) and find out where the fault code is, if there is one. to me it sounds like either a module is faulty or a connector is shorting. Due to the range of things that dont work it could be the BCM that has been steamed? it i located alongside the accelerator pedal and has about 9 different connectors going into it. right next to the carpet in the driver footwell. its a bit of a fight but you could take the module out and inspect it for any water/moisture, if you find it i would go at it with a hair drier immidiately befroe it all corrodes. I'm not saying this is definately what it is but that is my first guess. but i disagree, if they broke it, it IS their fault
  25. yeah it was inevitable and fortunately in quite an unnoticable area, but still much :( going on. caught it on a block of sandstone in my driveway so bought some of these viewtopic.php?f=61&t=35086&hilit=alloy+gator
