  3. got it back and WOW ! a nice tight box. so much better than before. Thanks to the guys at JFE. Must say I thought it was going to be the same old nonsense when it all started but they came good and were true to the salesmans promise. Made me happy to continue using them in the future now
  4. limited when the roof is down !!!!!!! how do i disconnect this ????
  5. so far I have only hit 145. Space is the big limiter. I had a 07 civic type R which has around 200 BHP and that would top at 140 ish. The day I bought the Civic I was bounced by a black Z on the M5 along bruminham. I naturally gave chase as the Z was first choice but I panicked and bought the Civic on the grounds it had 4 seats and a more manageable engine size. Couldnt catch the Z and instantly regretted the civic. 1 year later, Zed in garage
  6. to try this !!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qukUmDfoDpcv
  7. I was fawning over these at JFE this week. Told me they had a 09 with 15K on the clock for £46K. It's a black one too.... Luckily I love my Z so much I dont want one. Honest. No really. In black you say.......
  8. As you may recall, or not, I bought my 06 ragtop from the Exeter main dealer JFE. I took it in a couple of days ago for it's 6 month warranty inspection. The report came back with the release bearing being noisy and would need inspection at least. After a brief discussion, the work was agreed to be covered by the warranty. Dependant on inspection..... I get a call the next day to let me know that the bearing was indeed buggered. BUT the clutch was showng a high heat damage. I proposed that this was tied to the event where the pedal failed to return to top of travel on the two occasions it know it to have happened. They disagreed. The cost of a new clutch? £350 !!!! They would cover labour.... Then I get a call saying that the plate is showing 'odd' witness marks that cannot be explained as any kind of wear. Therefore ALL COSTS ARE COVERED BY THE WARRANTY !!!!!!!! Happy days. They did what they sais, look good and hard. I didnt even tell them before thier inspection about the pedal issue. And they are honouring the warranty! Top chaps looking after me they way they promised. Not often that happens is it ! ALTHOUGH........ As a courtesy car they gave me a bloody Nissan NOTE !!!!!! B*st*rds..... I can pick my car up Monday
  9. Saw the article in the paper. He seems to have been quite the rock star. Record finds in record times. How many lives did this man save ? I cannot possibly imagine what it is like to be there and do these things. Free beer whenever you want one mate
  10. We Zeddist are a complex bunch. Our interests overlap in many areas and to keep the forums evolving and fresh I think these sub forums could be good. Going to see Judas Priest in July, this could turn into a meet which invites photos and further topics would be populated - how did you do that to your aerial/bumper/head unit etc. All creating discourse in the forums apart from' what is the widest gear knob on the market, PM zmanalex' Just a thought

I have towels and carpets all over the place and look like I am having a stroke as I squeeze out. This month I spat the dummy and the garage is having an extension built right now! 50% longer and 33% wider on the new length - if you see what I mean. photo to follow on completion. I will be able to park a open the door fully !!!! How exciting ! i will also be able to take the bike out without moving the car, which will be bloody fantatsic
