  1. marzman... that 'jumican' means you can watch your webcam, on ur phone, from anywhere?? thats nuts!! so u can spy on people going in your room?
  2. I cant see why people use chips away, especially if you own a nice car. The amount of times i have people come in to work (i work in a bodyshop) asking for a quote to repair or repaint an area that chips away tried and failed miserable. Usually also costing the owner more than if they had of just gone to a bodyshop in the first place. They are good for people who don't really care about their car, or are not one who likes to keep their car clean and waxed up and looking nice, or a car not worth good money or whatnot, but all they do is blow over the area, 99.9% of time you can still see or/and feel the chips/scratch under their blow in, the colour's arent always right and sometimes you get terrible orange peel. Combine all these and can you imagine the state you're left with. Of course this is perfectly acceptable for some people, but it annoys me when people who do care about their car pay the cheapest possible for a bit of repair work and wonder why its not perfect.

    bodyshops?

xquisite automotive in Croydon, south london. Bit further than north london but worth the extra journey.
  4. Since when do you need a passport to get in to scotland??? lol
  5. cool mate CS.... what about the lower rear bumper sections around the exhaust. On the UVWorldwide website, it says they come as part of the kit?
  6. that eases my mind fella!! definatley interested in this kit in the new year, any photos of the front
  7. Sorry to bring this thread up from the dead!! Im seriously considering now to go for a replica V3 kit as apposed to genuine, for the pure fact of price. Only thing is im extremely anal about things being perfect, and am worried about fitment issues. Firstly is this is the same as the prestige / UV kit (the one on their white 350z demo car?) Secondly, ill apologise in advance if this is annoying but as you can image if im spending money on the kit it has to be perfect. Looking as the images of the rear bumper fitment, it doesnt quite look right to me, but i was wonder if the images are with the bumper not fitted properly i.e. rested on? I circled where i think it doesnt fit? Just want to know if this is how it will sit or if i will have to spend a far bit extra 're-shaping' to get fitment perfect. On the second picture, can you also prove the lower rear bumper spats, or add-ons that go round the exhaust. Also the petrol flap and the veilside badges the bonnet and the rear spoiler, can they be supplied by you also? Again, sorry if this is a bit of a rude post! i will remove if you like and can discuss via PM or phone call?? i just need to weigh up all my options.

    Night shots...

Your car is @*!# hot matey!
  9. Bit of a let down for me really, for the cost i'd expect plastic. Andy is it you who owns the matt black one? I own the Blue Fiesta also on Modified Elite. Xquisite done yours also didnt they? Anyway, good to see the car is going to be repaired.
  10. we have a garmin and tbh its not great, takes forever to search where you are and find your route, and the alternative route option is crap. but tbh its very easy to use and once its loaded its great. i had a cheap navman once and its was awful. only cost me 75quid though brand new ! id stick with tom tom. But, if you want to spend more, ive heard the Alpine sat Navs that you can buy for the Alpine DVD headunits are meant to be one of the best satnavs available.
  11. Just heard from the bodyshop i use that the car is going in there to be repaired! good news!! be nice to see it back to former glory. On thing though, im sure i heard this was a genuine kit, but from seeing the impact the kit is made from fiberglass. i was always under the impression veilside made kits from plastic, hence one of the reasons why they are so expensive. If they are made from fiberglass it seems kinda pointless spending all that extra on a genuine kit, and just spend more making a replica fit perfectly. I could be wrong though as maybe veilside made this kit from FRP ?
  12. I would be easy to do for a competant bodyshop, but anywhere less than brilliant and it could completley ruin it. If your prepared to travel to london i can send you to a place you'll never regret going to
  13. If its fading you will need it moped, take it to a nearby bodyshop and as for the faded areas to be mopped and polished. then keep on top of it buy waxing the car often, not nessecarly polishing (because that will just remove the wax), only polish if its needs it, but wax as often as you like, and the paint will stay nice!
  14. But Kandy is a whole new ball game in the flesh......
  15. house of colour kandy apple red, with black detailing, now that would look hot!
  16. i might be on my own here, but that pink actually looks
  17. theres a couple of manga vans like the purple 'batman' one in the video, in the UK. Theres a pinky/red one always at the shows, the thing is awesome!!!
  18. Ive experienced a fair bit of Audio and without sounding like a namebrand whore you really do get what you pay for. These cheap units are nearly always made in same factory and albeit advertised with tons of flashy features theres usually a reason why they are so cheap, badly made, fall apart, things stop working, not great amplification etc. It should do the job but its far off being up with the best, hence why alot of the decent alpine/sony even kenwood ones go for up to and and over £1000. But like i said it will do the job just depends what you are wanting out of it. I wouldnt want to run a large system off of it i don't think it would handle it very well, but to buy as just a flash headunit on its own its probably well worth the price.
  19. Anyone from here going? Me and a couple mates drove to Holland for a show the other month and it was an absolutley unbelievable weekend, blew away all the english shows with ease, so we are driving down to GTI SUD this weekend in the south of France as its a well known monster of a show throughout Europe (people come from all over) Wondering if anyone else on here would be going, or if anyone does the international shows? Great road trip if theres a few off you (foreign roads are awesome to drive on) and the weekends are such a laugh. Completely different atmosphere out there and great to experience the styles and the laws on modifying across the pond.
