  2. Provisionally sold, just awaiting payment and collection this weekend
  3. Because I'll be selling my car in the next month and I would like the money from the spacers now
  4. £260 collected from northampton, no offers
  5. Whoops, didn't do my price research properly! Price now £100 collected for cash or £107 posted Tom
  6. As good as sold, just waiting for the buyer to collect
  7. That would be helpful wouldn't it? I'm in Northampton. I'll try and get them weighed today, my courier will only take up to 10Kg Tom
  8. Thanks for the comments chaps, but this is a for sale thread, not a how much can you get one for thread, surely any negativity regarding the price etc should be directed via PM and not publically spam a for sale thread. If anyone is interested in the exhaust, please make me an offer, if anyone thinks its too expensive and has no intention of buying the exhaust anyway, pease discuss it elsewhere. Thanks Tom
  9. Thanks Ricey, Couldn't have put it better myself!!
  10. Yep - £332 on e-bay, like I say though, its a minter and I'm open to offers. Tom
  11. Pretty much as new, this exhaust has been on my car for around 5 months, but only covered about 1000 miles. the sound has really matured now and it sounds awsome. No dents, no polish, I just wiped this over with a damp cloth and you can see how well it still shines (car is a garage queen) Due to the exceptional condition of this exhaust I'm asking £300, but would consider reasonable offers. Collection only please from Northampton, although I could meet someone halfway if its a long distance.
  12. Drop 14mm front and 17mm rear, these springs are in as new condition, I've had them on the car for approx 5 months but have only covered about 1000 miles. These springs drop the car perfectly, without the need for extra camber / toe adjusters etc. I had the car set up on a Hunter Machine a couple of weeks after fitting them and the car was adjusted to near perfect alignment settings with the standard factory adjusters, worked very well with my 20/25mmm spacers, made the car look like the original artists drawing, rather than the watered down final production version: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=40924 £120 collected, not sure if I can sort a courier for these I'll find out tomorrow, but can possibly meet someone halfway.
  13. Set of 4 spacers, originally purchased from MWTech. 2 x 20mm and 2 x 25mm, in excellent condition, complete with bolts. Transform the look of the car, and are very easy to fit, I've had these fitted for approx 5 months, but, I've only done about 1000 miles. They ride perfectly, no wobble and I couldn't tell the ride differance from stock. SOLD,SOLD,SOLD,SOLD,SOLD,SOLD,SOLD,SOLD,SOLD,SOLD,SOLD,SOLD,SOLD,SOLD,SOLD,SOLD,SOLD,SOLD,SOLD,SOLD,SOLD,SOLD
  14. D1 Spec Throttle controller, in excellent condition and perfect working order, really does make a difference! Complete with instructions. £90 posted excuse the dirty fingers!
  15. Auto choke? Does he think its 1990? Seriously, sounds like he doesn't know what he's talking about and trying to pull the wool over your eyes. Modern fuel injected engines have the mixture controlled by the ECU, which in turn reads signals delivered from the MAF and Lambda sensore, amongst others.
  16. didn't bother with the sticky pads for mine, the wires are routed under the trim strip at the bottom of the drivers door and the unit itself is just at the base of the front rhs of my seat. you can reach down with your right hand and adjust it. also allows the unit to be tucked away when not in use. I find most settings above 4 a bit excessive in town, but love it all the same.
  17. Wish I could say the same. Went to get mine out of the garage yesterday for a bit of a burn and the battery was flat! Oh well, its currently recovering on trickle charge and I'll be doing a couple of hundred miles this weekend to blow away the cobwebs.
  18. Fkin hate fox hunting and all things associated with it. As for the stetement that they are pests - I estimate that 98% of countryside in the midlands is arable, therefore not affected by a carnivorous scavenger. The other 2% is farmed for beef and I've never heard of a fox taking down a fresian. The killing chickens theory is also utter tosh. Again the lions share of farmed chickens in this country are intensively reared, in barns, secured, so they can't get out and foxes can't get in. Chickens do not live wild, they are livestock, and, as such should be protected, if any owners are irresponsible enough to leave them out at night or in an enclosure that can be 'broken into' by, let's face it, a small mammal, should not be considered responsible enough to keep animals. Also, foxes do not kill for fun, they kill for survival, the reason they kill all of the chickens in the coop is that instinct dictates that they never know where the next meal is comin from. They get what they can when they can and, if left alone, they would sooner or later eat all of the dead birds, may that take days or weeks. Such is the nature of the wild. If you hadn't had a decent meal for a week and were given unlimited access to a sweet shop for 2 mins would you just have one chocolate bar, or stuff your pockets full and worry about eating it later. By the way, I have a few chickens in the garden, I live in the middle of the countryside, about 3 miles from the nearest village, and have never had any problems because my birds are always securely locked away in the evening The real reason that they are killed is simply blood sport, both direct and indirect. People like fox hunting and people like shooting lame birds like pheasents that can neither fly fast or high and can therefore be hit by a drunk tw@ firing a spray of lead 18 inches wide. Foxes also like to kill 'game' birds, however, they do it for survival rather than fun. Therefore we have a conflict, of course money wins and foxes die. It may be traditional, but so was badger baiting, stoning adulterers, throwing christians to the lions etc etc. Doesn't mean its right. Personally I just think its wrong to extract fun from any sort of activity which ultimately harms or kills animals, especially when the odds aren't exactly even. Now, put a toff / wannabe toff in a ring with a heyena to fight to the death, we've got entertainment and maybe, as its a bit more of a level playingfield, something we could almost call sport.
  19. Electronics shops like Maplins sell it for only a couple of pounds
  20. Top tip: wrap a bit of rag around the bar, it will protect the threads of the studs. I used some loctite on my spacers, just for a bit of peice of mind, as you can't check them without removing the wheels.

    trolley jack

It might, but I wouldn't want to be jacking the car up many times at the sill jacking points using a trolley jack. They have been designed to be used with the supplied jack. A standard trolley jack will bend the jacking points very easily. Best off jacking from the rear diff jacking point or front crossmember jacking point. That height jack should fit these also.

    £1000+350z

If I had a spare £1500, and I had to chuck it at the car, then I'd seriously consider a nitrous kit, something I've been looking at anyway. Its a bit different, a bit trick, I'd enjoy fitting it and playing about with it and it brings a real, noticable gain. Serious other considerations would be a late deal - 2 weeks all inclusive in the carribean, new motorbike / car project etc, etc
  23. Porsche seem to have taken the rear end styling cues from that great classic, the Rover 25.
